You know Video game canon rules as applied to tie-in books if it applies to STO would mean that the klingons do not get to crush the federations in this game.

I'm sorry but I don't think I understand this statement properly so I don't want to respond ina a potentially wrong way.
Could you please elaborate a bit what you mean?

If I had to take a guess, they were saying that because of canon continuity. Star Trek is about the Federation (humans). Thats what I took away from it.

Perhaps, even though I actually find the Federation = humans, or even worse Federation is only humans approach sometimes given in the shows rather contrary to what the show was suposed to be about.

When the Federation of 150 planets is actually run by humans and can't actually exist without them (as stated in Star Trek "Nemesis") or humans are actually the only Federation species the Borg want to assimilate (as shown in "Dark Frontier") I think it sends the wrong message (humans are better).:(

Regarding the federationcentric focus of the shows (with all main-COs being human) it's cause by demographics and games actually tended to ignor the rules of TV quite a bit.:)

Its a game. Nobody will ever get to defeat anyone else unless its written into the game.

In a way its Stovokor for the KDF and hell for the feds as the Klingon fans get thier eternal conflict and the feds get eternal conflict as well.

The Humancentric flavor of the TV shows and cinema is a by-product of being human in RL, where our egoes can not accept that we are not the center of the universe.

    Are you sure?
I bet the hamster just fell of the wheel and said "it can't be done" and you just misinterpreted that as "conquering the Federation can't be done".:D

Have you also input all important variables, like Klingons meaning...welll Klingons and Gorn and Orion and Lethean (whatever ships they have) and Nausicaan?:)

Well some of us may be overweight, but with all the armor ,etc on it can look that way, I'm the one holding the D'ktagh! I don't use that heavier armor. All in fun though I did kill several triblles that day!!!!
The feddies stopped shving them at us when I grabbed one that someone shoved in my face and pretended to kill it and we acted like it was time for a meal! :) Get to do this again in a week at Windycon!
thanks for fixing that link! I always have issues with them.

If they ever implement the Territory War system, I can see there being set up one or more KDF fleets, that allow only one character per user(So theoretically they can mobilise all 500 members at the same time.), just for kicking as much Fed butt as possible in TW.

Thats all cool. It was just the way it was presented, that was the first thing that was apparent. I think you guys need to rework a shot that is a little more to the dramatic.

    Right.
So what , One Kirk like Officer is only spawned once every couple hundred years then I take it.
Becuase Picard, Janeway,Sisko even Archer where certainly good at there jobs and a credit to star fleet, but still not of that caliber to be sitting around in comfy enviroments, eating fine foods and macking on all the women like the Kirk.
He's the only Captain to have a racial hatred from us

Even all the clones I see while traveling in sector space fall short of the one and only Kirk.

So I can safetly say the Empire is hardly worried.
