I would like to see 600 Day Reward LT Subbers (like myself) issued a small monthly stipend of C-Store Currency. The content in the C-Store is admittedly not required to enjoy STO, but I feel that the expansive scope of the C-Store was not honestly presented to early LT Subbers. I do not think LT Subbers are entitled to compensation mind (before I get flamed)...I would just prefer that we are compensated for LT Subbing to an P2P/F2P Hybrid MMO like STO. What do you all think?

You aren't subbed to a P2P/F2P Hybrid MMO (yet!) so no, I don't feel us lifetimers are entitled to a stipend. You are subbed to a P2P MMO with an MT store.
You said it yourself - the content in the C-Store is not required to enjoy STO.
EDIT - Now, if someone wants to throw me some C-store points monthly prior to F2P, you won't hear me complain!
But a monthly stipend at 600 days[just for lifers]? Naah, imho that will stir more unrest than it's worth, i can do fine without it.
after 600 days or so most lifers will be playing the game for free, so to get points on top is pushing it. i think a one off amount added is a good idea but not every month.
if the game goes free to play soon then we will get free points then anyway.
No to the liberated borg. It's one of the only thing we lifers still have that's ours and ours alone.
I don't see that ever happening, reason being that if they started giving a monthly allowance of Cryptic Points then eventually Cryptic would start to lose money on the LTS players; fact is that those of us who bought their LTS before the game was released are playing for free right now....
If someone paid $300 for subscriptions, then they should get the same thing that lifers paid for $300. Not the lifetime subscription part, but if they have played for 600 days, then why are they not a lifer? If anyone has played for 600 or 700 days, then I am willing to call them an honorary lifer.
you know there's a bigger difference than just the money, don't downplay it.
I agree plus I think it should NOT be limited to just lifers if some one payed a sub for 600 days that's the same we paid to be lifers
What difference? I am a lifer with a Borg Captain as my main. I don't use the blue title since I don't want to use it. The only thing that I did over subscribers that have been for almost 600 days is I saw myself playing this game in 2 years time and thought it would be a good investment. I am actually playing the game for "free" right now. If other people want to be a Borg and don't have the ability to make a $300 payment, then they should be able to become a Borg.
The reason why I don't use the blue title is due to not wanting to have any part in lifer elitism and preventing subscribers that have played for 600 or 700 days is lifer elitism. If the devs have other plans for the veteran rewards, then that is fine. However, it would quiet down those players that advocate the liberated Borg race on the C-Store.
As far as the OP is concerned, I would be willing to accept a monthly stipend of Emblems. Everyone could use Emblems, but not everyone will use the C-Store. Either due to finances or morality.

thank you, i could'nt afford the 300 down up front but i have had my subscription since launch plus have bought most c-store items, i figure it just goes to help the game, but i don't have a chance to get the liberated borg species, even though i want it. i think it would be nice for those of us who have held the subscribtion for 600 days to have the oppurtunity to aquire that.

I used what little money I had to buy the lifetime sub during the first welcome back weekend instead of the less expensive pre-order lifetime sub time. if you want a game to be cheapened to the point of selling everything on the c-store then nobody gets any rewards for anything, including veteran rewards for 100 through 1000 and however much longer they plan for.
do you really want nothing to be special in this game?
Where did I say put it on the C-Store? I specifically said put it as the 600 or 700 day vet reward. Any future vet reward is good IMO for the liberated borg race. My whole argument for it is that since subscribers have paid as much as lifers, then they should get the other bonuses for being a lifer and not everyone can shell out $300 at once for the lifetime subscription. Selling the liberated borg race for 1000, 2000, or even 3000 CP is not acceptable IMO. Everyone should be able to play the liberated borg race provided they put in the effort of $300.
The liberated borg is an incentive to buy the lifetime sub. If everyone would get it anyway, why buy a lifetime sub at all ? They want you to buy one to have a lot of cash at once imo.
People buy the lifetime subscription to only pay $300 for the game. I have been at another game for over 5 years now and others have been around longer. I never bought the lifetime subscription for the Captain's Table or the liberated borg captain. I doubt you won't find many lifers that bought the lifetime subscription for just the liberated borg and they would have bought the lifetime subscription even if there was no reward.
I can't speak for anyone else here but myself, but I have to say that the main reason that I bought my LTS was to not have to pay a monthly sub. Sure, I took a gamble, and there have been times when I would have kicked myself in my ***, but it was never (solely) for the LIb Borg captain.
To the idea of a 600+ day vet reward, I would be fine with it as long as we lifers get something extra when that milestone comes around. I don't mind sharing as long as the monthly subbers have to pay at least as much as we did.
That is why I like how they did the 400 day vet reward. Access to the Captain's Table and a Captain's Yacht. So there should be some cool reward with the liberated Borg. Although if you mean an exclusive lifer reward, then it can lead down a slippery slope. Subscribers would ask for that and when the devs cave, then lifers want some other exclusive reward. If it is not cool enough, then that might lead to other problems.
Don't expect this to happen without a F2P hybrid model, and frankly I dont expect STO to go F2P at all when considering CBS Royalties would still need to be paid out, potentially blocking a F2P model.
the whole point of a lifetime reward is to eventually play the game for free. thats why people would still buy them. the borg is a little cherry on top of your cake.
I should have been more clear. I did mean giving extra vet rewards for that milestone, not giving lifers a new "exclusive" perk. While it would be great to get more for the "blue names" (we WERE promised "more" was coming), I understand the slippery slope that that would entail.
