Hypothetical Scenario:
I myself am British. If I did decide to join a fleet, I would be disqualified? Let's nevermind that England used to own Australia and New Zealand. But to join this fleet, someone would have to be a current citizen of Australia and New Zealand? Remember, this is purely hypothetical, and not to be taken as a "May I join?" request. I am only asking for information.

I assume you mean joining the fleet and donating the Dilithium to a fleet project? Dilithium cannot be traded, and this blog states that what you see in the shipyards is based on the shipyard tier of the fleet in which the buyer is already a member. Anything else, like weapons and warp cores, is open for purchasing, but the shipyard requires joining the fleet before the game mechanics allow access to that particular shipyard's tier.

You will not be disqualified, in fact we have several Americans already. We do however make it clear to people from other time zones that most of the fleet will be active in the GMT +7 - +12 timezones. If they don't have a problem with that then there is nothing stopping them from joining. We are more of a timezone based fleet than a country based one, it just so happens that most people who play from these timezones are from Australian/New Zealand.

Correct, dilithium is contributed to active projects. Ec is usually the prefered method of payment but we have dilithium as an alternate method for those who don't have much ec to spend. You can buy anything except ships with your own provisions if you get an invite to a starbase with that particular tier available. You will still have to join the fleet to get ships however as that is the one purchase that cannot be done by a starbase invite.
