    Our starbase is looking beautiful, our shipyard is churning out ships at full pace (we have more provisions than we have toons in the fleet) and our industrial fabricator is well on it's way to getting an upgrade. There has never been a better time to join us and be part of our two year anniversary at the end of the month.

    I big thank you to everyone who has helped out along our journey, it really has been the community that has made this a very special group to be a part of.

    Indeed those are fitting words. I joined Ausmonauts a few months before our 1st Anniversary. In that time I have risen through the ranks and become a part of the community that is our fleet. Most of my knowledge of the game can be attributed to knowledge shared by fleet members to me, and in my time I have returned the favor to the next generation of captains. Reaching a tier 5 Starbase was a fitting birthday present to one of the best fleets in the game.

    This was posted on our forums by one of our members:
    Congrats on the 2 years everyone.

    There have certainly been some highs and some lows in the 2 year period.

    It doesn't seem that long ago that I got recruited by JJ fresh out of ESD. He contacted me in-game only seconds after my first toon stepped out into the big universe. He then took me under his wing for a few months and taught me quite a lot.

    In those days there was probably only 20 or 30 of us and I remember very well when we started the recruiting drive. We discussed at what point we should stop recruiting. 50, 100, 150....... This was prior to F2P and prior to the relentless grind that the game has now become. People played the game mostly for the story missions and people like me looked up in awe at a fleet with the Admirals of the time and wondered if it would take forever for me to make Admiral.

    They were good times.

    Also at that time, as is the case now I guess, the majority played Fed side with one standout exception. Doull. I ventured in to space one night for a PVP with Doull, JJ, and Jirk. I lasted probably about 2.3 nanoseconds before I got blasted. I quickly learned that there was a lot more to the game than I thought.

    A big "THANK YOU" to all of those that have assisted in making my game-play enjoyable over the last 2 years. There are too many to list here but you know who you are I'm sure.

    The Ausmonauts also sell access to T5 Federation shipyards and a T3 Embassy.

    The price for individual items such as Mk XII consoles, elite ground weapons and gear is either 10,000 dilithium or 2 million energy credits

    T5 ships of any kind cost only 35,000 dilithium, or 5 million energy credits.


    ...Of course, if you're a member of the fleet, then they cost you nothing at all. We ask nothing of our members except that they give a little when you can, and we'll in turn provide them with what they need. :)
