Let me in? We kicked the door down, but apparently that door landed on the box with our new stuff in it and broke it all! :(

I'll admit this post made me laugh. Still, you do know that the majority of Klingon updates that were in the works will be introduced with Season 4 right? There's no need to worry until then. To be fair, there's only so many Klingon uniforms they can do since we don't see so many variants as we do with Federation members. Though I would like to see some original designs and the rest of the variants being added, sure.

Seems to me Cryptic can add as many Klink uniforms as they would like since it is 2409; kinda like the Fed uniforms, Section 31, Bajoran, etc. They may not be able to go back in time, but they can move forward. The same could be said for additional skips and skins. Something new, not old.

To be fair?
Hrmmm... hold the Fed updates until Season 4.
Taste a little, see if you like it.
:)

Some of your post is just uncalled for. Everyone knows that Klingon content has been lacking from the start and Cryptic has been working to resolve this issue. A lot of Klingon updates are coming in Season 4; that was already announced. And again, no, the Klingons don't have as many pre-existing variations as the Federation does; so that is a fair consideration. If you read my post you'll see that I explicitly stated that they could make new uniforms and that would be cool as well.

Hate for hates sake is not needed.

Sorry, you'll have to forgive me then. These forums have commonly become quite... 'hot'. But still, yes, there's a lot they could do with the Klingons. All I'm saying is that we wait for Season 4 and see where that takes us.

Awww.. go ahead... when it's this low, it only stings for a moment and hardly ever draws any blood.... ;)

I'm really looking forward to trying out my Klinogn again after 4.0 hits.

And starting another Fed toon. :)

I didn't say people should be hopeful; just that we should wait and see. With the duty officer system alone I think that will bring a lot of new playability to the game for both sides. And they have flat out said they will be focusing on making or reassigning missions to be part of Klingon progression rather than 'ok we'll make some missions maybe' and they have been giving Klingons access to more and more areas with the featured episodes so this seems fairly likely to me. If I recall, Stahl said they'd open up all sectors to Klingon in his last interview with STOked.

The team continues to release Klingon improvements with every major update, and Season 4 will be no different. KDF costume customization options, new Gorn, new KDF tutorial, Start as a KDF with your first toon, KDF Duty Officer Assignments, releveleved KDF PVE content, opening up more KDF sectors - its all in the works.

As I've said in numerous interviews - don't take me at my word - just look at my track record for making the improvements that I said we would with the KDF and judge by that.

I'm the first one to say that things have improved over the past year, and I thank you for that. But the point is, expectations were set high with the 45 day patch and Season 2,and in the end what we got didn't measure up to those expectations. We are just careful not to fall into that trap again.

And having to wait another 3 months doesn't help......we are getting restless.

We are waiting, just not patiently.
Remember we are fans and fans rarely have "good patience" when it comes to feeding that object of fandom they enjoy.
Please continue to prove us wrong in our angst and anger over old wounds, but watching one side get fed constantly is disheartening and being told "just wait" get old.

Thing is the track record is that you have stated things on numerous occasions and never usually go into play. The 200 vet "klingon side' you said was to grow, now that was at 200 days, no new piece as of yet....

You continue to poor more fed based cstore items into the cstore but no new toys for our kdf... so again, where is this kdf love you speak of???? Because I dont see it. I mean go take a quick peek in the cstore and show me all the nice toys we get compared to feds over and over getting new clothing, ships, bridge packs ect...

Starting kdf as a new player, great, that has nothing to do with us people who have been here since the get go. KDF duty officer assignments.. again nothing spectacular there. You get to send invisible npcs to an invisible mission to possibly gaining a reward. New updated missions we get to play... over again.. thats not new content, thats content being updated. And what will that do for us.. play for half an hour and then back to square one. More KDF sectors, awsome, should of been done ages ago, but is there something to do in these new sectors other then flying through them.....? KDF costume customizations, are we soley talking about the gorn update and thats it or is there more clothing coming our way for our klingons?

Just giving you constructive feedback stahl because honestly... Iam not to impressed, sorry.

To me this is what we really need...
- new missions throughout the kdf leveling span (NEW ONES)
- new ships, customization options for all ships. New skin tones, body pieces ect
- more clothing, alot more...
- diplomatic section or what have you for the kdf

*these are just a handfull ideas that would improve kdf as a whole. We need more attention and again, more toys :)

Alright Mr. Stahl, since you insist.

1) The Klingon TOS uniform isn't. It's just one shirt, the one the men wore. The rest of the outfit doesn't exist and the women's outfit also doesn't exist.

2) The Vet reward that you said was going to "grow and expand" hasn't.

3) Where's the Great Coat? In fact, where's anything? We get nothing while Starfleet gets a new outfit every two weeks like clockwork.

4) Two of the 8 whole missions that we have, the Pi Canis sorties, are bugged.

5) The Featured Episodes aren't "Klingon Content", they're Starfleet content with the serial numbers filed off.
In 'The Vault' it makes no sense for us to use a shuttle instead of a Bird of Prey.
In 'The Colosseum' when we beam out of the satellite we see Starfleet transporter effects instead of KDF.
In 'Spin the Wheel' the Starfleet and KDF text options when talking to the bartender have obviously been reversed.

6) The KDF Cloaking Device is still bugged. When Starfleet players point out a small graphical error (like the lack of the mini-nacelles on the MVAM Escort) it gets fixed within days, but the Cloaking Device is a major game-play item. It's supposedly the reason that the KDF ships have less hit points that their Starfleet counterparts, and yet it's just allowed to remain broken while you guys work on adding more Starfleet hairstyles.

7) Starfleet has Tribbles, KDF gets nothing and we're told to like it!

8) Starfleet has a shiny new Delta Flyer, KDF gets nothing and our threads get locked when we even try to discuss it.

9) What happened to that "something different instead" of diplomatic content that the KDF was supposed to get?

10) Remember, I'm not Trolling, I'm responding to your specific statement regarding your record.

And guys, when I get banned for this post, which is almost certain to happen, then you'll know just exactly where Dstahl stands on improvements to the KDF.

Yes, you have said this. The game is better, in my mind, than what i remember it from closed beta.

Yet,
--KDF have 4 BO species vs the fed's7, 8, 20
--KDF 8 ships to the feds 13 and they are getting 3, possibly, 4 more
--KDF have 3 ships with a "special ship power" and the Feds have 6 so far, not counting the new additions
--KDF has fewer BO layouts due to this
--KDF has the least ship skins vs the Feds (saw Logan say there are some on the way....yet how many and how much is yet TBD)
--KDF has the least uniform customizations (you discussed these as being added, but how many and how much TBD)
--Pi Canis missions are a nice addition and needed, but left a big gap still for leveling. especially, since PvP is so weak for leveling, but PvP issues are another story.
--KDF missing the missions for the Borg that Feds get
--Fleet actions so gimped or ridiculous there is no team to do the with. at least i know on my Fed toon i can do the KSF or the Gorn minefield.
--Missions in other sectors (nice to know we may have 1 or more in season 4....but over the past year, yah)
--Cloak gimped. Aye, this is a recent issue, but since it is the core defense/offense of the KDF....seems like a low priority for a TOTAL fix.

The game has come a ways, but still has a ways to go and season 4 is going to be big factor in how the games direction and games needs mesh.

i read this hours ago and have been trying to find the time to respond ever since.
Track Record? Ok.
Graph-wise, if you count on a monthly basis all KDF only stuff (customization, features) compared to FED only stuff.....your track record definetly speaks for itself.
My question: Why would you even draw attention to something so poor, by comparison?

People are saying that the KDF is impatient? Seeing the feds being told "They will get this in March, April, and May" but the KDF isn't told that. They aren't getting anything. KDF version of the MVAC? New KDF Uniforms? KDF 200 day reward?
WHAT TRACK RECORD. I am sorry, maybe i am judging your statement by a different set of standards but it seems extremely poor by comparison.

Let me see...we got 8 Klingon-only missions, a couple "patrol" missions in one opened up sector (with a second one opened up so that we can do Cloaked Intentions), crafting, and that's about it.

The Feds have gotten like 90% of the development resources while the KDF have gotten next to nothing. Even the C-Store (for which I have no real love for) shows the glaring preference for the "blue" faction.

I know that you want to flesh out the "red" faction, but those of us on the other side of the fence are getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of ANYTHING coming our way. You promise us a tutorial. Great for those who want to start a Klingon character, but what about those of us who have a least one existing "toon"? A revamp of Qo'nos...why couldn't it have been done alongside the revamp of ESD? And what about the shoulder pads we got? Like Locutus said, where is the "growing" aspect of it? Do we have to wait another 100 days before we can see it happen?

Call me jaded, but I was burned on the 45-day patch and the Season Two promises. I'll withhold my judgment until Season Four goes live, but I'm not holding my breath.
