AUX jacks are good and USB ports for connectivity that can also be used as charging ports help a lot too. There honestly should be a USB port for every potential seat within a vehicle. Just about everything uses USB to charge.

Aux and USB vehicle ports are over rated
I miss my tape deck.
The tape deck can't play tracks from my Zune 80 that is still working fine since the day I ordered it from the zuneoriginals.net site way back when they came out. Ironically, it still also offers better sound quality through the headphone jack that most MP3 players that are a decade or more newer.

aw I think the tape is stuck in the old roller it was hard to clean.. found a CD cleaner that has little brushes and does not need cleaning fluid or a long Q-tip

That's one of the reasons why I prefer digital media. It doesn't take up much space, it doesn't skip on bumpy roads, and there are no tapes to get caught up or degrade in quality with each play.

That setup over complicated things a lot! :P Records make good pizza plates, drink coasters, and Frisbee's.
the rear projection broke and nobody foxed it so cannibalized speakers for dual quad audio and angry neighbor knock on door so we moved from city.. livin out in country mac .2 see oats and corn.. loose steer and bull with horns walkin down road like they own the place. had VCR and Betamax chained to over dub w extra mic for prince over dubed to Michael Jackson vice verse and lt playing under pressure with david bowie and Freddie mercury.. w practice amp guitar trying back up sing fail karaoke to david bowie singing solo version..multi track fun. w/o sound forge pc in it you had issues syncing meaning the oven PIZZA alarm timer sounds and you forget to look at clock and burn it good. because you hear nothing
hood lifters about 22 Each so that's not so bad.. dealers like are really nice guys 11 miles away so that's easy road near a river scenic and open fields far from most trees and deer raccoons weasels fox snapping turtles most squirles that love the cross road challenge when they saw our jeep beep past and of course Bunnies which we dont like speed bumping
Sounds like a really nice setup, Senshi. I never had good luck with VCR's, which is actually why I refuse to buy anything Sony. The only thing I ever had made by Sony that worked well, was my Disc-Man, which I won at a promo event from a local radio station. The two pricey Sony VCR's though both died within 6 months and they both cannibalized tapes I wanted.
My setups now though are very modern with nothing old school, unless you want to count the Wii-U. :P 65" 4k TV, Onkyo AVR with Dolby Atmos in a 5.1 setup, XBOX One S, and a 4k Android media box to play anything I throw at it. The TV doesn't support HDCP 2.2 but I use an HD Fury Linker between the TV and AVR to circumvent that junk.
After going to bed at 5AM, I finally have my updated PC running. I still haven't been able to get another Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB to run in Crossfire eventually. I did want both of my systems running but not being able to get another video card ruined that. I literally gave up the other day when NewEgg put up a very low quantity of cards again and they sold within minutes. I am going to wait until RX Vega and hope that isn't a similar situation with the Ethyrium miners wiping out demand globally with their 7 GPU systems. I did consider buying a EVGA 1070 but it's $300 more for literally a few frames per second more and... I really can't stand to look at the cartoony graphics nVidia rendering produces.
AMD/ATI graphics produce a more realistic image in games like the FarCry series, Deus Ex, Forza titles, and so on. Z has noticed that her ATS graphics look a bit cartoony after upgrading to a laptop with nVidia graphics. For games like STO, that's totally fine because the graphics engine is more than a decade old and it heavily shows. Some people do like the over saturated color style as well, which I don't. HDR is another example of something I am not sold on. I know how to tweak the color on my TV, displays, and so on to get deep blacks and white whites without having to resort to cheap techniques ruin the image. Ultimately, it's personal preference and everyone's eyes and eye sight are different.

Nice! Gaming on a larger screen definitely does make it a lot more enjoyable in my opinion.

I ordered pizza that I am waiting for now. Papa John's once again but not the BBQ chicken pizza. I kind of wish Dominos did the drone thing here. It would be neat to have a drone fly up to my balcony with my food.
