Today Asus really disappointed me! I have three Asus GL553VD-DS71's here that were all supposed to get the Windows 8 treatment. Sadly, the first one I opened has issues with the hard drive or hard drive controller, which happens to be a known issue with no resolution other than RMA. The other two and the one I opened are all going back! Although the one I opened didn't exhibit some of the other known issues, like thermal throttling and shutdowns. I don't think it's worth taking the chance that the other two have some sort of issue with them as well.
Z ordered herself a nice new MSI laptop tonight that should arrive within a couple of weeks. MSI is what these three Asus laptops will more than likely be replaced with. MSI costs more for similar but after checking their forums. Their similar version doesn't have any of the issues the Asus GL55/GL75 models have.
not a good patch...like a gee i wanta leave early on friday detroit auto
we mean batch production run..
Yeah. Disappointing too, because they look really nice and actually have a solid shell on them. The back of the monitor is brushed aluminum and the rest of it is very thick plastic. That might explain the thermal issues though that some people have been experiencing though.
Happy Tuesday, everyone! Can you tell the summer is here? There is nothing on TV to watch. :P Not until tomorrow when the next season of Big Brother starts.

I haven't wanted Dominos in a while. The last time I had it, was at my grandparents, which was quite a while back. I haven't been overly impressed with Pizzaville either and I am still not happy with Papa John's because they changed my store to a crappy store. Pizzaville's pizza is decent but... the crust has been very dry and dense lately. I don't like that at all! I wish Little Caesar's delivered and I wish they would bring back the SmokeHouse pizza. That thing was so incredibly good!
Of course! Archie has been playing on occasion. Cheer was on last night also. Lono is back again, Kulzar was on last weekend, and so on. It's actually getting a little busier in chat during the evenings again. With Martok making an appearance in the game, it makes me want to try and revive the old Pride of Starfleet KDF fleet, House of Mar'tok. I think I abandoned it quite some time ago though to focus on our fleets.
I ended up ordering Papa John's for dinner yesterday. I don't know what is wrong with the people they hire! Every time all but once, they forget the soda I order. Then they make a big deal about coming back when it's their fault for not reading and checking that they have everything before leaving the store. The BBQ chicken pizza was decent but it was incredibly hard to pick it up without everything on it sliding right off. Their BBQ sauce also could use some better mixing as I could taste pockets of seasonings in some bites. The Italian sausae, green pepper, and pineapple pie was excellent though.
Do let the pizza cool a little before cutting that could make the toppings slide or the crust was done wrong
Bon Appétit
Only a small pizza and some water?! What about breakfast? :P hey put a bit too much BBQ sauce on it. Too much sauce makes everything else just slide off, especially when hot.
Happy Friday, everyone! Canada Day festivities tomorrow!

But I'm not on a contract, yet
Make sure you get one next time then. That way, you still get paid even when there is nothing for you to do.
I don't know how people sandbag at work. Keeping busy makes the time pass faster in my opinion. One of my biggest complaints when I used to do factory work was working with people that were more than content to keep up a snails pace at everything they did, except breaks and lunch time.
Happy Canada Day, everyone! Bring on the 150th cake! I would prefer cookies but some cake isn't so bad. :P

You can drive under the influence of pizza but should walk to burn some off
America was celebrating its Sentential when they heard about this guy leaving his Horse cannon behind to make speed and grab glory

If that dog was smart. He's be trying to chase his tail until the pizza flies onto the floor. ... ... ... WIN! (;

That's actually the irony of it. The four weeks I've been working, I honestly felt like I wasn't working at a fast enough pace and felt like I wasn't as productive as I could have been. Then others, like you guys, bring it back to mind that i tend to take work more seriously than most of the other students I work with for the same thing. Kinda like, six years ago now, I had my supervisor when I worked with the USDA on an internship, bring up that I had a better work ethic than most of the people employed there, including herself.
ha of course that's great about you and its a tease.. of course its good to work well in a team.. independently unsupervised you challenge yourself and have fun beating a goal.. I mean even Mia Hamm needed a good cross on a set piece
it was left over night and we forgot the sauerkraut pizza

Did you save the rest of us some? We are hungry too. Maybe some well placed pizza would be irresistable for Momma to ignore.
