Read this thread: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=14701 If you ignore the senseless bickering and posturing, there's some good advice in there from various people. As for sage/demon, you have 89 levels to decide. Nothing we tell you now will really matter since by the time you hit 89 you'll have your own…

Everyone's homeless!

As in the future president (possibly) of the US slightly misspelled? I don't think I'd mind being that. Decent money, decent job security, kinda stuffy house so I hear, but lots of interns to keep things interesting.

No clue :p

http://perso.numericable.fr/ecatomb/pw/skillpwi.html Hey kat, take a look at this. Maybe the new skills will make you feel better? Most of them are just +damage spells, but there's a debuff that might be useful in parties (it reduces mdef by 60%, the EP one only does 30%, and most EPs are too lazy to even cast it). We also…

Play the class you feel you'll enjoy the most. Yes, groups for dungeons may be slightly harder to get as a mage, but they're not impossible to find. You'll also find the wizard to be very good at other parts of the game. Despite what people may suggest, the classes are actually fairly well balanced. On the other hand, if…

It's 150% for hell route, if you manage to get the book. It's nice, but it's not really the end-all of all defenses. You don't get any physical damage absorption shields like so many other classes have. After a certain level, the whole 1-shotting an entire group of same-level people get exceedingly hard unless you get a…

Why not? You can solo hunt as well as the next class. Better than most actually against melee mobs and magic mobs of 3 elements. Meh. Burst damage...hard to say. Archer crits are way up there. Barbarian perdition.....if you count sharptooth at the beginning of a fight as "burst damage", that raw # would be pretty high…

Shhh... I'm too busy crying in my little corner over here. Leave me alone! T_T
-
Aww, but it'll be sad that the original kat is no longer a MG :( Well, EP isn't all that bad. You don't get as much burst damage as a MG, but if done right, the damage over time is similar, especially since you have debuffs. I actually had an EP and MG at the same lvl, and it was pretty disheartening whenever I got invited…

Isn't every other female character in the game a ****? :p Let me think...hints hints... Uh...my main's a male MG?
-
At certain times, yes. Accidents happen :(
-
Besides, I'm the one who actually has a female character :p so there!
-
Come come now...Mikoto has more than one guy with a skirt in her life! Besides, my legs look better than yours. My knees have dimples! See?
-
What? I'm that dark mysterious man who wears a skirt in your life....
-
What server are you going to be on anyway Mikoto? And how do you juggle both Mikoto and Jovent anyway Tres? I thought they hated each other :p
-
Lol yea, it's not like a good EP is any weaker than a MG where it counts anyway. My EP probably does nearly as much damage as my MG in the long run what with all those debuffs and whatnot...plus you get all that extra survivability and CC, not to mention barrier...and of course..seraph wings! (although Black Hole looks…

1. This game has been out for years in China. Most people here played on the Malaysian server that was in English (sort of English). 2. Builds are meant to be taken on a macro scale - build your stats to wear the type of equipment you want, and THEN adjust what you have left. Most people who do agi at all are either going…

I always wondered why it always felt so breezy... Same Mikoto from ALLIED?

No one asked you to recreate me :p

You can also buy an advanced scroll that lets you edit your character even more drastically (i.e. asymmetrical body parts, impossible body proportions, etc.). I actually think this was the worst idea ever, although it's funny when you see essentially the equivalent of a walking muffin now and then I guess.
-
Pretty much. You get golden eggs which can drop up to a +3 dracon pearl. Or you can buy pearls directly from the item shop. Ah ... i remember making a fortune off of those...The good old days :p Once you get an enchant up, you can also transfer it to other equipment (with a few limitations) with an insanely high # of…

Frost enchanted blade doesn't increase your own damage at all. It's only useful if you group with physical attackers a lot. It's useful, but it's not that important to the point where I'd train in it as a priority. Armor of ice doesn't really give you any benefits when you have a mp hiero up (which you always should). It…
-
It's funny you mention this, but i've heard the songs in PW-MY and the background music in various movies, tv series, etc. :p Never knew what to look for though.
-
The game isn't only limited to those two classes though. You'll also be fighting other classes, and against some, Wizards will be better, and against others, Archers will be better. It won't always be 1 v 1 either. There are times when Wizards are better for group pvp.
-
Heh, sadly, there are builds out there that can't do enough damage to kill afk Barbarians with a hiero up. There are a few other penalties for turning red. 1. Guards attack you. If you're in town, guards can be brought to you (it's an exploit, but it exists) to kill you. 2. People who buff you get annoyed. There's a slight…
-
Why don't you just buy hieros of your own? It's one thing to say you lost because someone's better equipped than you due to luck in drops and craft results and whatnot (not a very persuasive argument imo anyway), but everyone has access to the same hieros. The whole "poor" player thing isn't a very good excuse. There's an…

It's quest heavy at first. You'll start to notice fewer and fewer quests though (at 40, then 60, then 70, then 80, etc.). Past 70, it's almost pure grind, with quests giving at most 25% of your exp per level, and that's being way generous and if you take several days to do repeatable daily quests. A lot of people just…

Well let me rephrase - crafting doesn't take skill points, but learning the craft skill (and upgrading it) takes skill points. You get skill points to allocate based on the exp you get. For example, you usually only manage to get enough to max all your skills by around 89 (by design).
