Yeah there is a windows management software to keep all windows "unfrosted" There was a free trial for it but the software itself cost money. Sorry i don't have the name of the software for you. I'm sure there is other ways to do it too.

You can wear all heavy armor gear. The end game gear sets are g16 t3 nirvana, g15 moral 2nd cast, rank 8 recast, rank 9, and g17 from TTR. For weapons you have Morai g15, warsong wep, rank 8 recast, rank 9, and g17.

I have an edge weapon with +3 range, when I use that skill it cancels every time. So i think you are not close enough for the aoe to hit (5 meter range) Seems like a glitch, i guess need to walk a little closer to boss, or use aoe size glyph.
