Looking at the TT weapon forge, all I saw were xbows as the only choices really... Like 95% of the weapons listed in the forge were xbows. There were some "?" blocks, I assume these are the non xbow weapons? How do you unlock these?

Your already thinking on the right track. The mobs just outside of sundown are good archer grinding material. Between the canisblades and the two quillhog types, you have two melee and one archer type. There are also quite a few low/mid mat spawns around to be picked up as you grind and sell later.

The two types quilhogs (archer/melee) and leopardites (melee) right outside of Sundown town are lvl 47 I beleive. I started grinding on them at 45. Easy grinding, the archer type quilhogs might get a single hit in, and the leopardites/melee quilhogs hardly every do. Theres also a good supply of low/mid mats in that…

I find that really hard to beleive :x Archers are weakest at lower levels, and even then it wasn't all that bad (nothing a 2-3 bronze HP charms couldn't last me through). I'm pretty sure this thread is asking about highest rep on THIS server, not other servers. As for myself I know its above 1450, I think it might be a little past 1500, at work so can't check to get an exact number :(

Do what I did: Find a good spot to grind on that has alot of low/mid mats around for harvesting. After you memorize where all the spawn points are, go around collecting the low/mid mats (I do the non-herb mats myself, and ignore the herbs) and sell them overnight in a cat shop in archo.
