TT Crossbow Path?

So I finally got my first TT weapon, and its awesome, but I've been looking at the weapon paths I can follow starting at 70+.
So far the only two good paths I see are the Thundercrack(70)->Flash Fire(80) or the Hurricane(70)->Returning Squall(80).
The Returning Squall seems the better of the two, but theres no upgrade path from there as far as I can tell from what I've seen unless I'm missing something. Do people go the Squall path through 89 and then along the way build a seperate crossbow to Flash Fire to turn into a Blinding Radiance to replace the Squall at 90?
Trying to decide which way to go once I hit 70 (as I will want to have the mats before I hit 70 so I can upgrade as soon as I hit it).
Also, I figure I won't be 60 for terribly long, so I havn't upgraded my Swiftwind yet, and just filled the one socket with a beautiful garnet. Should I re-think this and try to upgrade it some, or will it be enough dmg to get me up to 70 as is (at 70+ armor/weps I plan to upgrade and socket stone to max since they will last me alot longer increment of time before being replaced)

Personally, my ideas of "better" are so very different from yours.0

why do you like xbow so much?0
-
it looks like u're carrying a rifle or something, esp when u aim and fire. looka the way ppl carry xbows in their hands while they run - totally like a gun.
that and unicorn is terrible0 -
it all depends if u have the money.
returning squall takes a long time or a lot of money to get so...
of course it is the best.
for lvl 69 to like 76... or more, the gold wind and clouds is the best grind weapon.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Looking at the TT weapon forge, all I saw were xbows as the only choices really... Like 95% of the weapons listed in the forge were xbows. There were some "?" blocks, I assume these are the non xbow weapons? How do you unlock these?0
