  • Are the ticket in your mailbox? If so, just click on "item" and they'll be transferred to your inventory all ready to be used. The egg can be hatched at any NPC with "Pet" in their name (pet manager, for example) and the blessing can be equipped right away. I didn't get the clothing, so I dunno how that works, but I think…
  • I believe you mean the Mountain Tunneldigger, the armadillo looking thing at the TB island? That one's level 12, and the growth is here: http://img2.mmo.mmo4arab.com/pw/images/guide/pet/tidepet4_1.png It...doesn't seem all that great, but I've never used it, so I can't really way.
  • With these earth people, I think they'll be very like the stonemen of Forsaken World or something. The name just reminds me of them, that's all. xD Can't wait to see it, especially the awesome quests. I'm hoping for something like the TB quests.
  • Just to be clear, what level of "noobish" are we talking about here? Do I have a chance to survive? Does a level 45 (my new sorta-main)? This is exciting~ Although, I won't get home in time, so unless it runs for hours, I won't be there for it this week. ):
  • Man, I was so confused. First I thought the GMs didn't know what date it was, and then I thought the Halloween event started and ended without me noticing. Holy epic necro! xD
  • >_> Really now
  • Er...seeing as how none of us control the CS and/or can see the future, I don't think we have an answer. Also, this might bet better if asked in the general forums, though I don't see how anyone over there can answer it either.
  • As said, it doesn't lower defense, but it does generate aggro when the damage gets reflected back. For squishy characters this could be disastrous (though really, if you're smart and the tank/less squishy people are paying attention, it should be fine), especially clerics since they're usually too busy healing and such to…
  • Should be interesting to see this new system. Like someone before me wondered, are the items going to be tradable? And if not, can they be sold for coins? Edit: Not tradable? D: Hope they're really useful, then...
  • I wouldn't say leveling a Duke (or a Wanderer) is a waste of time, because as you level up, a DPS pet becomes more and more handy. Until you get a herc, you'll most likely not be tanking in same-level squads anyways, so a DPS pet helps with the boss more than a tank like the Walker. As well, the best DPS pets (scorp and…
  • The only reason I even have a mount is because of the anniversary event, and I find it very useful to travel short distances, but I find that I don't use it that much. Other than farming, I usually AFK (or at least alt-tab to another window) fly to my destination, which is a lot safer--and in some cases, faster 'cause you…
  • Yep, Antelope Pups (lvl 30) have the highest chances of dropping hay in that lvl range, at almost 11% (http://www.pwdatabase.com/mob/1094). So you have to kill 10 for one hay, more or less. The 50 hay quest, from what I've heard, is not worth doing at all, as you can get far more coins selling those hay than what you'd get…
  • Thanks for the clarifications, everyone. b:thanks I'll try some stuff out on an alt (lvl 39, so perfect for this) by taming a Mechrab, Guardian Wolf, and Eldergoth Sharpshooter when they become available and try them out to see which one suits me more. Froggie sounds awesome, but I don't have the coins for that (nor the…
  • As LenieClarke said, the DPS of the DW is much higher than the Eldergoth, but it's really only evident during boss fights. Pet skills take the same amount of time to cast/hit, so with the Eldergoth's much higher patk, the bash skill would hit for much higher. Say the mob you're hitting takes 7 seconds to die with both you…
  • Thanks for the information, everyone! After comparing stats a bit, it seems that if I wanted small pets, frogs or pups are the best way to go...though the free alternatives are really nice too, except the size bit. I probably should've thought of this a lot sooner than now x_x Regarding the recommendation for the…
  • Hmm, from what I've read (I chose the wolf at the beginning, since it was the first choice xD), the scorp is really fragile? I'd like the pet to be on the tankish side, since I usually do most of the damage anyways, so less heals would be awesome.
  • Let's see...pretty sure I only joined the forums a few months ago, though my account is at least a year old.
  • In the quest "For the Director", is there no option for TBs? My Psy is 43 and when she visited Latu (after getting a pop up), there was no quest.
  • Random little thing--"Kill 1 Kirxxix the Dark Adalwolf Lord" It's Krixxix, and I was looking all over for this guide (well, from Google) but was unable to find it due to this. xD
  • According to PWD, it appears that Newborn Pyrolizard and Techicolour Firedrake don't exist on PWI. If you're looking for hay, Antelope Pups are best for that at the level 30 ish range.
  • Piggybacking on this post--is it possible to just buy the skill book? I see people selling them, but I don't know if I can use them without completing the quest.
  • I was grinding for hay this morning, and they seemed to drop with a 10% rate or so, which is what a database said. I had spurts of one or two pups dropping at a time and then a lot of nothing in between. One even dropped three. If your avatar is current, then you just have to be patient (I'm the exact same level). It took…
  • Thanks for the info about the water pet, RouIette. I'll have to work on fruits as soon as possible and not worry about the water pet, then. As for keeping pets leveled, I haven't been having too much trouble with two pets (in part 'cause of the grinding for the hay), but I guess we'll see with three of 'em. I wish someone…
  • Thanks so much for the information, guys! I've grinded some hay and got a DW. So far so good, except I don't have the coins to teach him bash yet, so he's terrible at holding aggro. Quick question about water pets--everyone says that you pretty much catch one near your level until 80 ish, but when do you first need one? My…
