I would say, because you like both Mag and Melee classes, you could make a Seeker. Pwi has 8 character spots available, so you could also try 8 different classes at first, till you are between lvl 30-60 maybe, because it would depend on you what a good starting class is.

Back when I played my Cleric, I do remember I could solo Yansheng, Farng, Qingzi, Calcid, Trioc, Krixxix and stuff and my build was 1 Str, 6 Mag, 3 Vit every 2 lvls, but I ended up finding I had way too much Vit, cuz I lvled my Cleric till 79 then, so I think I had more than 100 base Vit. I would never say Mystics can actually replace Clerics and I also think a Cleric should heal the tank and the Mystic should heal the rest of the squad, especially at Nob and Pole (with Vitality Herb or some other AoE heal). I'm not that experienced with Mystics, but I do think their heals can't be better than Cleric's…

I shouldn't lvl Soul of Vengeance, the only difference I saw was the increase of mana costs, that's pretty sucking. I'm not experienced with Sage/Demon though, so you might wanna lvl it for Sage or Demon.
