Most people will say seeker, for obvious reasons, such as the survivability, and capability of recieving bp effects. However, if you're actually going after fun, then use whichever class you like the most. Healing + Vital herb is also a great combination by itself, more useful for bosses that don't aoe though, since the boss's aoe can kill the herbs...or helping protect squishy casters in the back from aoe. Comforting mist is also one fo your best friends in parties, especially in aoe groups ofc. XD

As for a more tankier build, how about pole/sword combo? My seeker build actually covers stat requirements for all swords and poles, and has nice vit for survivability in both pve and pvp. Ehh, I prefer chihyu as a DD because it can also DD without having to use mana, I mean I still fill up its mana before a fight. And so what if it takes me longer? If it works, that's all that should matter right? I'm sorry, I play for my own enjoyment of the game, not other's.

Throwing down a healing herb helps a bit as well, when you, the mystic, is doing the tanking. Unless ofc the boss aoes, then that's pretty much useless, but if it doesn't aoe, healing herb is quite useful.
