This is patently false. Cash Shopping is only one of several ways to make money in the game. And while 2x Drops was an excellent way to make money without investing real life money into the game, it is hardly the most efficient way to do so.

This automatically assumes that Player Vs. Environment Servers function identically to Player vs. Player Servers. Which is sadly misinformed. In Player vs. Environment Servers you can have level 40+ players who are blue named, and thus can enter the Cube and other PvP based instances.

Wait, since when is there no Earthguard Rank 9 Gear? I could swear that there is a listing of said gear both on the PWI Wiki and on the PWI Database. in answer to why your pet is no longer leveling up, it probably has to do with the fact that your pet can't be higher level than you yourself are. At least thats what I would assume. As far as classes that don't require the cash shop and yet which do play well in groups, and which are decent at soloing. I think your looking primarily at Cleric, and Mystic. Though my personal preference lies mostly with the Mystic as I have always been fond of pet jobs.
