You could argue that it was done on purpose, subtly. At least back when I played people would ask for help opening stuff, get buffs, then proceed to solo/duo an instance while being fully buffed.

If you time your Tree of Protection properly you can avoid being killed, although you'll be relatively low on HP. If you're a demon sin then no, i doubt it's possible with your gear. Apparently as a sage the 25% damage reduction keeps you alive without buffs.

Before Frost was made into an exp instance, the only way to level "fast" was to spam rebirth, which is what most of us did. 4 hours sitting there every single day, getting like 2-3% out of it. In 4 hours you can get 4 frost runs done nowadays, earning yourself upwards of 60% exp if you're in the 90s.

Sins aren't OP. They are the highest dps char in the game, but they're also one of the squishiest. Most sins focus on damage and neglect their defenses, PvE wise people say sins are "OP". PvP wise though, sins go down in 1-2 hits from a decently geared magic char.
