If I understand you correctly.....there is already an option for auto-cultivation to pick up items as well as coins. Just change the drop down option next to 'enable' to 'all items' and then press confirm.

You would do this if you wanted an open invitation for people to PM you and tell you what a waste of coin it was to shard with a DoT. That's about all I can think of.
