On a PvP server, you're automatically attackable by other players once you reach level 30. On a PvE server, this isn't the case. On a PvE server, you have to manually flag yourself as attackable by other players.

The only times I've ever had aggro issues have been when a DD went all-out from the start after I missed an opening flesh ream or when some 89+ used a demon spark. Even in the mid 70's range I could take back aggro from 93+ BMs who demon sparked, just took a few seconds.

If you try to level up all skills, you'll definitely be short until at least the late 70's. That's about when I started going back and ranking up skills I had passed on earlier. Beast King's Inspiration, Strength of the Titans, and Axe & Hammer Mastery are musts. You'll need at least one rank of Blood Bath (accuracy buff)…

I kinda like this meditate idea.

Yeah, if my memory were good enough, I could probably count on one hand the amount of times I've been RPKed from 30 to 80 on one hand. It just doesn't really happen that much, but people get so incredibly upset when it does. "OMG your guild is on our KOS list now!" I don't understand why it's such a big deal. Unless you're…

You only think fist 2str/3dex fist barb is awesome because you haven't done a 4str/1vit wizard. That build of wizard is so awesome that it doesn't even need the arcane armor it can't wear without int or the light/heavy armor it can't wear without dex.

Thanks. Just wanted to clear it up before either wasting my time looking for the 4th token or wasting other peoples' time by missing it.

I don't know how reliable this is, but I saw a chart some time back that said the chances of success on +1 was like 50%, +2 like 25%, +3 10%, and from there I don't remember any others. I failed first attempt at +1 a couple days ago and then succeeded first try on +2 immediately after second attempt at +1.

I want to say I'm around 460/1800 (at R 9/10).

Repairs get annoying, but it's not too bad. My problem right now is that I have no time for grinding, so $ is going down the drain on daily quests and not coming in from killing stuff. When I am grinding, tiger form with alacrity of the beast and sunder means I never need hp pots, and I have +5mp recovery cape that greatly…

I wouldn't recommend sinking much $ into gear at this point, for the simple reason that you will probably outgrow it fairly quickly. I don't think I spent much on armor at all until after I hit 50.
-
Garrote is extremely efficient in terms of mana-to-damage ratio. That said, I do my grinding in tiger.

To the anti-Penguin naysayers - Consider this: penguins don't need to buy dress suits; they look like they're already wearing a tux.

Honestly I've been surprised by how little world PK I've seen to this point. Even in the 6x level range in the Swamp I rarely dealt with any higher-leveled PKers.

There's actually something interesting about this. As you upgrade Poison Fang, it can roughly offset the physical damage loss from True Form. What's also interesting about it is that you're adding Wood damage which isn't mitigated by physical defense. And if you go Demon at 89 and get the Demon True Form and Poison Fang…

Mighty Swing and Penetrate armor are key damage abilities in Humanoid form. Later when you get Bestial Onslaught, that will be also. Keep Beast King's Inspiration maxed, and for a while you'll need Blood Bath while grinding. Later on as you level you can get decent +accuracy bonuses on gear and won't need BB as much while…

OP is level 26 =P

I've been told barbarian is the hardest to level solo, with the arguable exception of cleric. I managed to hold a pretty good pace for a while and was still at more than a level a day until around level 53-54. It slowed down a little after that, and 60-70 was a definite slowdown. But I can't say that leveling has ever…

This thread definitely belongs in the barbarian class forum.

Yep. Often, other players will pay $ to buy the items and then sell them in-game.
-
Enemies (players and mobs) have their own physical defense ratings, and their defense mitigates your damage.

DQ! Even at level 50, doing DQ41 was generally getting me 30% or so of a level (between the times when I would need to grind for drops, or the step requiring X number of kills of Y mob, plus the quest XP reward). If you get a silver dragon order out of it, that's a nice $ bonus. At your level, doing DQ31 would be very…

Wow. That explanation is scary. Looks like there's more risk involved in refining than I had thought. It's gotta be pretty beneficial to balance that risk though.
-
How many times can items be refined? And how much gain do you get from doing it?
