sup yallb:victory
Im pretty new to perfect world, just started about a week ago.
I tryed out PvE servers first then decided to EP it up on LostCity :D

So yah, some how ended up on the forums and thought i might as well introduce myself lol.
Im very pvp orientated so,hopefully will be seeing some of you around in near future >:D

On a side note,I have a question which maybe some of you guys could help me out with.

Apart from basic PvP (Duels) what other types of PvP are there?
Ive heard "TW (Territory war?)" being mentioned alot and was wondering is this similiar to a guild war?
Also are there any PK tournaments or Class PK tournaments avaliable?

Thanks,
Kamie

Haha, well on the Lost City server you better level from 30-90 fast if you want to survive any real PvP competitions, the top 50 list is full of 90+.

All im focused on atm is endgame, hence why i was looking around the forums and playing PvE servers for a week b4 deciding mage is the way to go on LostCity.

    Another doubt i have is...
the mmorpg i was playing for the last 5+years was a f2p game but in order to even stand a chance of being succesful in PvP you HAD to purchase items for $$$ to be used ingame.
This was a big mistake made by makers and resulted in alot of the original players quitting.

I know in Pwi you have the option of using $$$ to improve your items, but what i'd like to know is it a necessity in order to stand a chance in PvP?
Or would you need to spend a ridiculous amount of time and effort as a f2p player in order to achieve the same status as someone who spends cash?

Thanks for all the feedback so far guys, makes teh game just that little bit more enjoyable.b:laugh

Cos im not really one for spending cash on mmorpgs,i prefer to make all stuff ingame.
But i see items such as mounts/dress/fly can be brought from boutique for $$$,is it possible to purchase them with ingame gold?b:cool

Yep. Often, other players will pay $ to buy the items and then sell them in-game.

Yep but they can be quite expensive. The cheapest mounts cost about 900k. Fashions range but are generally 200k+ per piece

You don't need to grind mobs for any insane amount of time in order to buy the things in game that other people get with cash shop. I too have seen some out of hand cash shop games, so far this isn't one of them.

You can buy zen (gold used for cash shop) with ingame coin just go to the auctioneer. This game is pretty good for not needing to have to buy cash shop with real cash although someones gotta sell the gold/items in the first place. Easy to find cash shop items on sale in player stores as well. Just look around and make sure what your buying is the object you want for the price stated.

edit: At later lvls you can farm Twilight Temple mats to sell them for coins. Some gold mats from the temple are sold for 2 million+ coins. If your a veno and not afraid to compete you can tame pets to sell as well as farming Twilight Temple alone.
