One usually gets the Friendship Quest by getting into a squad of a person who is already doing it. Then, when the person completes, both friends that are in the squad receive the FQ (Friendship Quest), and can go find their own squad to get 15K exp, or simply turn the orb in for 5K exp. Hope this helped. :)

You can find high level monsters in the Endless Sea (by the Widow's coast), as well. I think they're 30+, though.

Try checking the box next to "Force Log" when you're signing in. It may work, and it may not.

I think the Petite Sawfly is best for PvP. It's the best flying pet after a Nix, I believe. I'm not sure about TW, I don't have much experience with that. As for the underwater pet, perhaps taming an Undine won't be bad? Again, I don't have experience with this.

Crafting may mean having to level my blacksmith skills (still at lvl1). :X Is there a way I could get someone to craft it for me if I provide the mats? That could probably be done.

Armor glows because of the soulgems you imbue into it. The color of the glow depends on the number and level of the gems you imbue. You can find a guide to making money here.

You may want to try a PvP server like mine, Harshlands. If PvE bores you, it might be a good idea. ^^

Venomancer is a nice and easy fast solo class to start with.

Patching and updating always takes a while. But yes, it depends on your connection. You're always going to have to wait a bit, though.

At your level you could consider farming hay from the Rhinodrake Megaliths south of Archosaur. Oh, and the price for Hay goes anywhere from 3-9K. If you want to sell fast, sell at 3-5K, if you want to sell slow but at a larger profit sell for around 8K.

Farming and selling hay might be a good money making tactic. ^^
