Depends on what you're killing, Check out http://www.pwdatabase.com/items/811 and see which mob has the highest drop rate for your lvl or a few lvls higher and merk out on em all. You could have just been killing mobs with a low drop rate for that mat to begin with

i was assist dd in a solo 1-2 with a lvl 78 veno and herc and did fine, i doubt a cub would survive though. my wifes cub only last 2/3rd of the fight,

actually that was an toon i made and deleted then started the another toon with the same name and it avi won't update. i have used a total of 20 oracles on this toon so far and only to cap over levels when im out of quest. sorry im not a fail bm like you thought.
