I like Lost - plenty of them there and easy to see against the "sandy" backdrop. He's referring to Imperial Crustan Scout (661,340). There's 3 that keep respawning, are aggro, and they look like... lobsters without legs... upright, with two big pincers... Be warned - if someone else is here, they tend to frown upon you for…

I'm struggling to understand people's problem with this. If you alt-tab to do something, for example, look up a funny song on Youtube... then you would spend the same amount of time (length of the song) doing whatever you were doing instead of within the game... If they kept the same speed, it wouldn't mean you would spend…

I'm not a member of PWI dev team or even an administrator. Just a regular ol' guy who's done IT work before... and I have to say, your post complaining about it slowing your computer is incredibly uninformative.

I used annhilator of souls over the TT's. my plain and simple reasoning was whichever i got first - which was the annihilator mold for 200k. Side by side, the damage is the same. I'm unsure of the TT though, not sure what bonuses are possible.

There are all sorts of food that mobs may sometimes drop: Meat, Fungi, Hay, Pure Water, Fine Meats, etc. If it can be fed, it will say so in the description when you hover over it. (Do not confuse these with the DQ items - mystical meat, etc). You can also buy 3 types of food from the pet manager - Pure Water, Sesame Oil,…

Three kinds of "pets" in this game: Venomancers have regular pets (battle pets if you will), which need to be fed, can fight, and can level up. All classes can have mounts - I consider them pets since they also need to be fed, can level up to a maximum of level 11, but cannot die. Do not confuse these with Air Mounts…

I think what can be said here is to know your place. If you're a support cleric, focus on the heals. If you're tending towards the FAC, focus on the attacks. Either way, get SOME buffs to give to BM's/Barbs for the grind. A 10 minute life powder is plenty handy, but it's a consistent life-gain that may **** out in the…

Like ^^^, you will really only need to stat Str and Dex (requirements for Light Armour/Weapons/Heavy Armour). Do not stat Mag as it is useless for a BM. This might help. As well as this guide here In general though, it's better to choose your path (weapon(s)/armour) and stat for that instead.

Yes, use the built in F9 method. The reason being it can do some camera fine-tuning as well as remove the HUD. If you really want to be fast though, PrintScreen always saves to Clipboard. So you would need to hit PrtScrn, Alt-Tab out of the game and load up MSPaint (or a similar image editing program). Press Ctrl+V to…

And for the 6th time: Venomancers. Played correctly, they save on repair costs (weapons and armour), tend to die less, barely use pots, and have plenty of time to pick up all the coins on the ground while their pet does the grunt work. All the veno's I know, have too much money and need to spend it on frivolous spending…

^^^ good advice. Generally yes, the quests can sometimes seem like they're not a lot of exp, but most of the quests require killing something close to your level. In effect, you're grinding on a specific mob that will result in a lump-sum reward (i.e. quest reward). The need for grinding in the lower levels will vary…

This database is pretty useful to find drops and mobs. Just put in "Hay" for item dropped, and you can sort by Level (ascending or descending). And we can see from doing so, that the carapets are the lowest level to drop. Rhinodrake Megaliths (lvl 22) are the first candidates with a better drop rate, and at lvl 30, the…

Perfect World Wiki is a quintessential resource for quest info. Use it wisely and use it well! Also the Quest Finder has not failed me yet. Unsure of why you're having an issue, but most likely you're not going to the right place.

To be fair, there seems to be a slight increase in net exp gained by party when fighting together. By observation: Partied with low level, member far away - I killed a mob for 260 exp Solo'd I killed a mob for 260 exp Partied with low level, member nearby I killed a mob for 195 exp, member gained 95 exp which adds up to a…

First off, a big "Thank You" for the guide! Personally I found this too late to be use (I remember spending a solid 30 minutes looking for the "5th salvia root") but it is nonetheless very well written and a great help to starting players. Again, to echo others here, can't wait till there's a mid and high grade mats guide…
