Hello everybody, I have got a few questions about this game and it would be great if you guys can help me answer them.
I understand that this game is easiest if you have got a party to help you out with FB and lvling. But out of all the classes which is most suited for soloing? Also which class requires the least amount of in game currency to maintain?
Thank you all for your time

I think it is the venomancer.0

I would agree with the Veno being the easiest to solo with. I haven't had a difficult time with my wizard, but I find my veno goes through the same stuff much easier and at times possibly even faster. She also makes me more money, as I have never had to buy pots for her in any of her 45 or so lvls and her repairs are much cheaper. My wizard can look at 100k worth of MP pots and laugh... >.<
The only real cost you'd have (at least to my lvl anyway) is for your own skills, and your pet skills which I have yet needed to upgrade. When I do need to upgrade them, she can make the money needed fairly quickly. I even use her to fund my wizard when he's running short on cash. lol0 -
Veno or any class as long as you have a Veno friend.0
-
Veno:
- have own tank (Pet)
- can heal their tank (veno healing pet = cleric healing a tank)
- can also do twice damage (Pet + Veno)
- wont get much damage because of their pet (no damage to me= no repair for armor)
- only thing that is expensive are the pet skills0 -
And for the 6th time:
Venomancers.
Played correctly, they save on repair costs (weapons and armour), tend to die less, barely use pots, and have plenty of time to pick up all the coins on the ground while their pet does the grunt work.
All the veno's I know, have too much money and need to spend it on frivolous spending such as fashion items... b:angry
On the other hand, not everyone wants to be a veno...I have read that fist BM's make pretty good solo PVE characters... but I have YET to discover why (and I'm a fist BM...).0 -

I thought it was the axe BM, with the most AoE's for PvE. Im told fist and spear BMs are more suited for PvP.When the going gets tough; Get a tank!

i agree that veno is best for solo, but probably not if you get careless. you have to make sure your pet doesnt go hungry. one time, i got up to use the restroom, and when i got back my pet was emaciated. point of the matter is, find the class that works for you. try out the different classes and see which one suits YOU, not the crowd.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]You keep what you kill0

The only one of these that is not true (depending on how it's read) is the middle one about damage. Veno's get two attacks, the pet's physical and their physical/magical (depending on mage or foxform build), but both of those are weak, with the mage's magical attacks probably the strongest. My lvl 23 archer right now is doing almost as much damage against same level mobs as my Veno was at lvl 45 with her magic attacks.
The biggest advantage the Veno has is that their pet can tank and they can heal, which means even in the almost-worst case scenario, they can just spam healing while their pet does all the damage. It'll take a while, but it will be stable and safe. If your pet can take a few hits before needing to be healed (usually the case) then you can get some powerful attacks in as well.
My general advise is to start with a Venomancer for your first character. It's an easy and safe way to learn the basics of the game, such as class strenghts and weaknesses, stat distribution, manufacturing, quests, chat, factions, FBs, upgrading equipment, etc. Also, if you later make another class and find you need money, you have a Veno ready and waiting.
If you decide to fix on the Veno as your main character, be ready to multitask. On later levels, a good Veno has to be able to monitor and pay attention to multiple things at once, as well as anticipate both the enemy you're facing (will it start using special attacks, will you steal aggro from your pet) and the mobs around you (how close is too close, will that one move toward me, am I standing on a spawn point). It's not as easy as other people say, but it is fast if you're good at it, and extremely cheap.0
