It was a mistake. None of the Xmas event stuff was supposed to be in game until the 24th, but something happened during the Tuesday maintenance. According to the admins, it's since been fixed.

Most of the time, the mouse-over description of an item will say if it's used for crafting things. The other items dropped from mobs early on, like green fragments and ragged furs, have no purpose other than to be sold. You can tell because they have nothing in their description to indicate that they're used for anything.…

Thank you for responding to this, I've wondered for a while if any of those people were getting answers(I assumed they weren't). The few times I've needed a GM, I've used the I'm Stuck button. It's great to know that the /GM thing also exists, and that it's an acceptable method for summoning the almighty GM. Thanks, guys!

Actually, this has occurred to me as well. When the price of Gold went up 50% in the course of a week, I stopped buying it. Now that, at least on my server, the price lowered to about 110-120k, I'm willing to buy. If people start getting a bit greedy and raising their selling prices, chances are good that far fewer players…

WAAAAAAAY back when PW was a pay-to-play game, there was indeed a landowning feature. Sadly, it disappeared once the game became free. That feature has been gone for years, and I don't think it will ever come back. Crossing my fingers anyways.......

This sounds like a lot of fun, especially "guard duty!" I would suggest nailing down a price range first, because it will attract more people once they know how much they'd be spending.

My first ever PW character on the MY servers was going to look like me, then I gave him a ponytail. Oh, and made him eleven feet tall. As far as my character now, um.......it's a girl.
