  • I don't know whether the impact is material or not, but I certainly saw many more clerics using dolls and charms in TT's, since they can recuperate the cost through drops now. And new green equips = more refines. So I hope this also helped PWI's bottom line.
  • I liked this event. Maybe some of my friends didn't because I just dragged them to TT's all weekend, but it also got several other friends to play the game more. This was much more effective than the double exp/sp but not double drops, since double drops matters more in the context of TT/FF farming. I think once every 6 to…
  • I'd get revive given that it'll probably be the most useful skill from a helping-people perspective. Too bad I'd still have to carry res scrolls for myself.
  • see map http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/mine/6366
  • Yes, I agree that you are being yourself. In re-reading some of the thread, I apologize for the misunderstandings. Everyone has different playing styles and personalities. It sounds like you've been successful at how you play, so it makes sense to continue to believe that you will be able to receive the help that you want,…
  • "As I've explained many, many, umpteen times about 'helping out willingly', you obviously do not seem to get my point." Chill... there's a difference between writing my thoughts vs. persuading you my opinions. I'm just writing what I think are some of the reasons. I know you only will receive help from entirely altruistic…
  • 1) yes. press R to bring up the skills list. drag and drop skills to the numbers of F?'s to change the skill associated with the key. 3) Select teammates using shift+number. I don't know about the rest and would be interested to know.
  • Salvia Root - make pots, visit Apoth for details Golden Herb - make pots, visit Apoth for details Ragged Fur - sell to NPC Buddha Hand - sell to NPC Green Fragment - sell to NPC Log - craft items Coal Dust - craft items If you are in a good guild, it's usually not necessary at all to level your crafting, because many of…
  • I understand your point on not paying people for anything. I think it is reasonable on your side to not pay for teleporting or pots, but that implies the helpers are not breaking even and instead they are losing money by helping a stranger. As rsin suggested, there are many people who are willing to help, for free, when…
  • ^ Agreed -- you can make your FB group do your bosses first. This is also one of the benefits of joining a guild. Find a guild that does non-FB bosses for its members. Not all guilds are drama centers, but if you want to remain guildless, then you need a good friendlist.
  • ^ It is possible to put a scalar instead of actual numbers? For example, bones and skulls are 0 since they are near worthless. Mirage is 1, 1-2 chin is 1, 1-1 edge and drum would be 2, 1-2 drum is 4 and tentacles are 4, etc. It's not an exact number, but it helps as a quick reference guide for people who do not want to…
  • For http://fusion.kwlds.com/TT.html Can you please add price ranges to these? I know that prices will vary by servers / months, but it helps when distributing mats. Don't want to call chin shards as my drops if there are drums and skins. Thanks everyone for compiling this. It helps.
  • The leader of Sagacious has been changed to Sance instead of xiaolongnv. Thanks.
  • I am interested. Thanks.
  • I think that logic is normal. Only 13% of subprime mortgages didn't pay, leading to this mess. Crime rate's counted on tens per one thousand, but the difference in bps matter.
  • It's easier to make money with a veno. Venos also spend a ton, but solo-ing is less frustrating. What I dislike about clerics is that they are expensive to maintain compounded with high expectations from squad-mates. Just as an example, in TT's, clerics need to BB at aoe bosses or spam heal the barb. That's pretty heavy…
  • Whoever was in your squad did not help you. You should ask friends who you trust to help you with FB's. Few people are willing to help with tabless FB's, and many of the few who are willing are unable. If you are on HT, I can help you find a squad to a tabless FB19.
  • In general, you don't need a charm unless you 1) do TW's 2) zhen 3) do TT's with squads close enough to the minimum required level that's it's better to be safe for the tank to get a HP charm 4) do TT's where the cleric BB's long enough to need an MP charm 5) fight world bosses with 24MM HP such that the healing clerics…
  • I was just going to reply on how to make guilds when I saw a link to Sagacious. Then I saw it's you Lahnce!!! Well, you answered the question.
  • I think there are 2 merchants in plume. Click on the locator assistant (upper right next to the mini map) to find them.
  • Barbs kill slower, so armor costs are higher while weapon repairs are the same as others. The other problem is getting ks-ed. I try to take my barb out grinding at odd hours when few people are competing, because even though people don't ks on purpose, lots of other classes kill faster and 1) mobs are farther apart because…
  • -What skills should I focus on? I assume good barb means tanking, in that case: true form, alacrity, and flesh ream. Get slam and roar for getting agro, too. Get HP buff, too. -Is it better to fight in Tiger form or Panda, Wolf etc. Form? Tanking - use true form as a tiger. -What is a good stat point allocation for a…
  • Since FB29 wine is so cheap, that may be worth soloing, and qingzi's earth based, too.
  • -Which one is a better build? I prefer hybrid, leaning towards healing. If I wanted a pure attack, I'd make a wizard. However, pure healing clerics have a difficult time leveling unless you are playing w/ a significant other who is online whenever you are online. -Why is it a better build? Already elaborated above. -How do…
  • Sometimes people also don't realize that you hitting the mini-boss once or twice would not result in kill-stealing. To be on the safe side, my friends and I also tell them "we're just speeding up the kill, our damage won't result in a ks" when we try to do anything.
  • If I can afford giving up the mold, I would. It would shut them up, since I can imagine them going around the whole server tainting the cleric's name. Consider it a last gift to a bunch of bad friends, tuition fee for a class on how to find good friends.
  • @khurshed If you're the tabber, the general guideline is that tabber gets the mold and 3 stars. Not all groups follow that, and it's a good idea to decide on that beforehand. But the guideline is so commonly practiced that most people assume this rule.
  • I trust that my friends would understand cases of possible d/c's. As such, if I were the cleric, I'd send back the mold since it's a small $ loss in the long run, just to clear my name. Then I would not be friends with them. Find new friends. If I can see true friendship with just a mold, I think it's a cheap price to pay.
  • My argument for factions: I can chat with multiple friends at once, with all of us reading each others' messages. With a friends list, I can carry multiple 1-on-1 conversations, but sometimes the chat is not as dynamic. I have found that this is not the case for TW factions, but in smaller factions, I can find boss help. I…
