I believe/hope/think he was trying to say that the class is BladeMaster - not really specifying any specific weapon to use, as in, it's not specific to axes. I could be wrong, and he could just be ignorant, but alas, no way to know.

Bump~ How long can I expect to be farming, either/both, to get this? I can essentially devotedly grind for up to a month (5+ hours/day) but anything over that may be annoying.

'd probably say work your way up the line until dragonlance: Angder, then dance of the unverse at 95, and 99 bebuff spear. I'm going that build except at 99 I'm going for whitesands spear because it looks badazz.

Since sword is heavy dex and axe is heavy str, to be able to wear both of your level, youd have rather low hp. I reccomend going axe/pole for max aoe ability OR pole/sword for max pvp. Since pole is the median for str and dex, you can use either combo and still have good hp. -Hath

I refuse to conform to axe-usery until level 80-90 D;< (or until I have enough spirit to do it)

From a pole BM guide I saw a while back, the recommended PVP build is: Enough DEX to wear a one-handed sword of your level, enough strength to wear your pole-weapon, and the rest in vitality. It's the build I'm using now and it's working quite well. Also, don't be discouraged by the amount of axe users. I can't say much…

Thanks for giving me hope again leonidas & unoox. I made myself a two socket sound chaser last night as motivation to hit level 51, so the motivation makes me feel like it wasnt a waste. Im also happy to hear that grinding is so good, as I have a "personal cleric" ( my wife) to grind with :)
