Actually either it DOES work or Venos just already swim faster than others. I say this because I can out swim Non-Untamed and I have had Venos out swim me as other races all the time. I would say Sage for Fox without QUESTION due to its SERIOUS benefits towards many Fox Skills (Leech & Fox Form alone make the case. Demon Fox Form speed boost = irrelevant to a Fox Veno). For Casters it may well be better to go Demon though and the Op sounds like a Caster to me.
