I haven't tried instances yet, but I failed to solo my lv 19 boss. Not because of the pet's tanking ability, but because even with spamming pots, the mp cost was too great.
-
Seekers have a teleport stun just like sins. At level 39, too.
-
I must be missing something here, because my Seeker currently has the same detection level as any non-sin class.
-
This is incorrect. That spell increases metal damage the enemy takes by 12% similar to Heaven's Flame or Extreme Poison, not decrease enemy resistance.
-
Psst, Rezna. Seekers do have amp damage skills, but those only apply to certain element attacks b:avoid

Whether you think Assassins are OP or not is up to you. That class has been released in PWI and you can judge it after you've played it or played against it. My point here is you have not tried any of the new ones. Hell, those of us already playing them don't even have all their skills yet. So explain to me, with some real…
-
And this has anything to do with them being OP how? Has it not occurred to you that new classes can possibly be balanced AND fun? And yet some people are already QQing about something they know little to nothing about.
-
It simply amazes me how some people can claim the new classes are overpowered without even playing them yet. b:laugh
-
They hate us talking about it because we know too much. We know that there is no "destruction". In fact, the new areas are pretty as hell! b:chuckle We know that there is no "claymore" type weapon for the Seekers. b:shocked There's also the fact that people seem more interested in what we tell them rather then the pretty…

A guild called PWI? b:chuckle
-
Hm... a thought just occured. Ranged Attack: Blade Blastwave By swinging their massive claymores in sync with the natural vibrations of the Earth, Seekers can send forth mighty kinetic waves to knock down their adversaries. I think you just learned that attack. b:chuckle I guess it also deals earth damage, then?
-
OMG, YES! Farstrike is my favorite BM skill! I love the Seekers! b:laugh
-
ooo, is that new attack just base damage + an extra number, or is it base damage + % of weapon + extra number?
-
Grats Sher! Too bad running towards the buildings after you dropped was more fun b:chuckle
-
We need to compile a list of english speakers for the CN test server b:thanks
-
I'm on the server with the orange TW map too, add Daizengar whenever I'm actually online b:pleased
-
The curse debuffs only take effect if a specific attack is used. If you use skills that don't correspond to it, nothing happens. There is also a new type of buff that is not added on to you, but your WEAPON. Weapon buffs!
-
LOL, I know who that is too! *collects rep badges for R8 Seeker* <_< >_>

Here's a screen with the Seeker metal amp damage if anyone is curious: http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/8778/20101209163140.png It may be too early to say, but based on what I've played so far, the Seeker class does not play like a BM or a Wizard. Here's an example of how you would fight as a Seeker. -Warning: the…
-
No it won't. It is NOT a reduced metal resist debuff. It is an amp damage similar to Heaven's Flame, but for metal attacks. Therefore, you can have archer metal debuffs and Seeker metal debuffs at the same time. Comes with its own icon and everything. In fact, archers can benefit from this too :D
-
Caster types are going to love having Seekers in squad. Here's a skill my Seeker learned at lv 24 "Curses the enemy, making it take 12% more damage from metal attacks and metal spells for 330 seconds." Yes, that's level one. And there's going to be a water and fire variant too. Also, I personally don't think Seekers play…
-
Yeah, even the new areas look pretty as hell b:chuckle
-
You are so going to love your mystic summons, Q b:laugh
-
Feb 2011? That's not soon enough b:cry *goes back on Chinese server*
-
They really need to change the Seeker's description and picture regarding the 'colossal blade'. Everybody keeps thinking there's going to be a new claymore type weapon when they use the swords already in game.
-
I have a Lv25 Seeker on the CN server and no, they cannot use any weapons other then sword, blade, dual sword, and dual blade. Whoever also said they use magic weapons is also incorrect. They do however have a nice mix of physical and elemental attacks, lots of self buffs, and special amps that increase the amount of…

Pretty much. I honestly didn't think about trying out the CN test server until someone posted a link earlier in this thread. It's not that hard to play without understanding anything too, since all the quests are just talking to npc, killing 15 mobs, farming 10 of something, etc. And all quests lv 20+ are same as ever <_<…

This game WAS dead to me, to be honest. All these ridiculous sales and stuff keeps on making it increasingly difficult for me to keep up with all these cash shoppers. And the whole easy R8 for 72 gold really screwed me over as a BM. If not for the two new classes, both of which are very fun, I honestly would have quit this…

I found Sherily's Seeker running around in Arch. I think I just found someone to bug when I need help b:pleased
-
Sherilys, I believe those are the Warsoul weapons and Lv 79 and 100 skills. We already have those. =P If you look at the url, the date for those updates were for July and May 2008.
