My guess with the limited information is that you turned yourself red nearby, and guards don't take kindly to some red names. And technically, the guards are just freak'n strong creatures, so loosing exp is normal. So yeah, no glitch, tough luck.

Hate to see someone miss out on a part of PWI that they enjoy, but here's hoping that you'll be able to come back at some later point without having your contributions nurfed. You should come to Harshlands and look at the map there. Think there were two factions that owned everything there the last time I checked. So yeah, I could go with this idea, though I can see it causing a lot of hate between some factions. But hey, at this point the only hate that exists is that from the RPK factions.

I believe you mean the sparks. Those you get by completing the spiritual cultivation quests and reaching a certain level. Each spark is equivalent to 100 chi, but you still have to build it up yourself by fighting/using apoc items.
