lol wow...you do realize that buying that 295 you are actually DOWNGRADING, right? and the issue isnt really our systems..its the graphics engine the game is using. it isnt designed to take advantage of multi-core processors and newer graphic cards. a friend of built an Intel Pentium 4 machine with an older NVIDIA GeForce…

from what I know..the GTX 280 and GTX 295 are notorious for BSOD =\ I think it has something to do with the drivers that NVIDIA is putting out right now..they really need to step up their game imo..

I noticed this on my girlfriend's Veno one day..the way I fixed it (permanently) was to turn the water refraction on.

ever since I used this.. to see if it worked or not, everytime I try to check the affinity of Elementclient.exe it says access denied any idea on why this is happening?

you wasn't lied to.. just like with all patches, some of them have a few bugs. It will get fixed as soon as the devs/players come across this more.

I had Norton..got I hated it lol. a lot of false positives. I would suggest avast! free edition, or the free version of AVG. both are great! I myself use AVG and absolutly love it =]

to the OP. I am assuming that you are using wndows XP. with Win XP, when the OS encounters a fatal error in a program, is restarts the computer to prevent damage to the program or to other items on the hard drive. i would try to re install the game, but this time from a different source site. hope this helps a little bit!…

rty turning down the Water effects. when you max out that..it makes the game lag A LOT!

lol I have to disagree with you on that one XD my main is a cleric, and I have yet to die once while playing on it. Yeah, I know I can heal myself, but i have been in situations where mobs were dealing more damage than I could heal. gets frustrating after a while b:surrender but yeah anyways... in my honest opinion..dont…

IF, and I mean IF, you and the other player live close to one another to actually see each other outside of game..there is really no point at trying to be "romantic" in a video game. lol a waste of time imo. Besides, I have a real girlfriend to be romantic with.

as far as I know, that only ways you can move the camera are the Scroll wheel and to right click. sorry..

lol the American team really cant do anything as far as I know.. if the Chinese teams or w/e makes a fix for it, the American team can use that to fix it for us.

lol I'm not about to re install a 32-bit OS. I dont have the time for that. And the game did the same thing on my Vitsa 32-bit Computer (2.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3Gigs DDR2, and my ATI 4870 153MB GDDR5)

lol I dont know how to take a SS of my desktop XD but I have the same issue too.. in Vista 64-bit with 6gigs of DDR2, I have seen the game take all the way up to 500k+ K

lol well, I found one thing.. I think the Water setting is bugged or something XD on the max setting, in City of the Plume I get like 15-17FPS, but when it is on the middle setting, it jumps up to like 20-25. maybe the devs can take a look at this?

thanks for the replies guys! to answer the question, no, I do not play in windowed-mode =p full-screen all the way XD and to the guy who says he gets 5K FPS. I play with it all maxed too.
