Me and a friend are trying to play this game together, And his works perfectly fine.. However.. My computer doesn't seem to agree with this game, I can open it up, And log in perfectly fine, However. As soon as i hit the create button, It starts to go to the character create screen, And my computer Just reboots, I'm not sure what the issue is, My computer meets the basic minimal requirements, And then some. But I don't know how to fix this issue, I've even tried running as admin. Any help on this issue would be Amazingly Appreciated, Thank you

to the OP. I am assuming that you are using wndows XP. with Win XP, when the OS encounters a fatal error in a program, is restarts the computer to prevent damage to the program or to other items on the hard drive. i would try to re install the game, but this time from a different source site.

hope this helps a little bit! =]

Try the following steps to stop your computer from automatically restarting on fatal error please:

    Right-click My Computer
    Click Properties
    Click the Advanced tab
Look under the heading Startup and Recovery
    Click the Settings button
Look under the heading System failure
Uncheck the box that says Automatically restart
Click OK to close Settings window
Click OK to close Properties window

In the future, have a pen and paper close to your computer. Next time there is a fatal error, the system will pop-up a blue screen with lots of information; the most important info will be a number that starts like this:

    0x800

The code will contain a combination of 5 numbers and/or letters following 0x800. Write down the whole code, restart the computer, and post the error code in this thread - I would be happy to help.

PS - If anyone is looking for a tech support employee (A+ Certified, Associate in Computer Information Systems), I am experienced in ISP tech support at a DSL and Dialup provider via phone, email, instant messaging communication methods. Since I no longer work at that company I am doing telemarketing which is wasting my talents lol but still giving me experience talking to people on the phones and putting food on the table. b:victory

Just wondering.. Is this safe for my computer to be in this state? The game works now, But I'm concerned that It might do something bad to my computer

Your computer is fine. If it can't handle the game, it would:

    1) Crash the game constantly
    2) Turn itself off if it started overheating
    3) Pop-up a blue screen with an error

As long as the computer meets the minimum requirements to run the game you should be fine. If you are worried about stressing out your machine from playing you could always play on a lower graphics setting in game.

If it is working, that is a great sign and I hope you enjoy the game.

    b:thanks

Well, It blue screened, but the numbers that popped up were bigger than you said they'd be.. here they are, hope you can figure something out.

    0x0000008E (0xC000001D, 0xE1BF4841, 0xA6E4588C, 0x00000000)

I made an attempt to research those codes but information regarding possible problems and solutions is very broad. I will get to the bottom of this issue via a different route. When the computer gets a blue screen, it creates a file that details the reason for crash.

I will show you how to upload the file so we can figure this out:

In your web browser, go to http://www.filedropper.com/
Click the upload button to bring-up a new window
    Double-click My Computer -> C:-> WINDOWS -> Minidump
Double-click the file most toward the bottom, this will upload the file
You will see a new page that says Share This Link
Copy text in the box below Share This Link
Paste text your reply to this thread

I haven't seen a response so either everything is fixed or you are not online during the weekends. Hope all is well but if you are still having issues feel free to post an update.
