After you've seen Mr. Yeh, head to one of the starter areas to find a Dragon Quest Director - you can start a DQ from there. Starter areas are near the main cities: Inn of the Eagle near Ether, The Northern Pass near Lost and Battlemark Village near Plume (I'm not sure of the Tideborn one).

That was really nice of them. Sounds like something that would fit right in here: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=517802

Yup, it's the Zeal genie starter skill called Earthflame. And no, if you forget the skill you can't get it back (same for any other starter skill).

lol aw there's no stopping you guys

When lvling a chicken (b:laugh), I would send it after a tombstone and while the pet was running to it, targeted the next. As soon as it hit the first one, I'd send it over to the next, and so on. It was pretty quick and didn't cost me any repairs.

Here's one for the bored, who haven't yet seen it: "There are more than 100 world known personalities on this painting. If you can name a minimum of 25, you may consider yourself a cultivated person, good luck." http://s632.photobucket.com/albums/uu47/aeode00/pwi/?action=view¤t=painting.jpg

Just bringing these back would be a great step forward. A lot of people have said they miss these. How else am I supposed to know what day it is b:cry

I see what you mean and understand but I kinda prefer it the way it is. Regular questing is usually enough to level your land pet (and you can just do One Man Armies to quickly level up other pets and get rep). Personally I feel a sense of achievement, having killed air mobs one by one to lvl my air pet from around 20 and…

QFT The positivity on the forums here has declined so much over the last few months, it really is amazing if the powers that be can't see it and/or choose to do nothing to assuage it.

Perhaps people see anni packs back in the boutique for whatever reason for the 3rd time, despite all that's been mentioned in this 130ish page thread dedicated to feedback on the issue, and figure it's futile to continue posting here as it appears the feedback here is ignored anyway, and so create new threads instead. I…

summon pet animation spell (instead of pets just appearing) I would love this. myraid rainbow actually hit for its 800 mana Yes! I don't care that the curses are random but come on...none at all? I can't stress just how annoying it is, wasting 800 mana for only a skill animation, especially when using myriad fox form…

I know the last post was made a couple of days ago but I have something to add for the OP about 3-1. I'm arcane with vit and some -chann gear and started tanking the bosses in 3-1 high mode at level 77. At that level it was only possible with a BM or two using Shadowless Kick (Fist BM cancel channeling skill) and Mage Bane…

Also, if you want to build up your chi before fighting, use your marrows and keep rotating them as soon as cooldown allows you to (alter marrow magical and alter marrow physical). Each skill generates 10 chi. EDIT: Sorry , missed the veno part. To build chi on your veno before fighting, you can just spam heal your pet,…

Love it, thank you very much ^^

I'd add carrying a couple of res scrolls around. If you die and the one cleric in the squad is furiously healing the tank/rest of squad, no one involved really wants the cleric to stop healing and res you.

With the way gold prices are now, I was thinking of buying a bunch of gold to then buy items from the boutique and resell to others at 1g:100k. The problem with this is that other players would likely buy it up and resell at a higher price, so there's no point. Were we all to magically agree to stick to 1g:100k, some…

IIRC you can buy it from the guy you visited for the mantou quest, located next to the Tailor in Arch South. In my opinion, you can make far better HP/MP regenerating items at the apothecary though - might be worth you while to just farm some herbs to manufacture your own and save the coins.

As you continue on, the normal quests won't be anywhere near enough to level you each level so you will be needing to grind to make up the gap leftover after doing all of your normal quests and daily quests like Crazy Stone or the Friendship Quest. I've been keeping my genie to my level all the way so far and have found…

It's in fb29. Go into Secret Passage and get to the portal that takes you to Hall of Deception (fb29). As soon as you enter, wait for the 3 guards patrolling the hallway to move away from the chest you'll see then you can run up and dig it for the painting.

You might want to try some of the mobs around widow's coast in a level or two. The Felbone Shanks would probably be good for you (lvl 39). You also get a bunch of water mobs to do for the one many army quests you can pick up at allies camp - the vampiric thresher lords are good to grind. In the early 40s you'll be sent to…

You can get mats for better weapons and armor from Twilight Temple from lvl 60. If you go to where General Summer is in Arch, there are a bunch of forges - check out the Twilight Temple forges for now as you will probably be wanting the weapons at least. You need balcksmith lvl 4 to make the 60 and 70 weapons, same with…

You can check how many socket stones you need by going to any PW Boutique Agent and choosing Slot Equipment. You can either bring up a table showing how many sockets needed for each lvl of equipment or just drag and drop the item into the window to see how many for that particular one.

Never knew what "omw" meant so when people would say it to me, I'd assume they were mischatting and ignore it. Around 30/31, after turning in a quest I had to pass through dragon's end to get to the next place. After many close encounters with higher lvl mobs and carefully calculated twists and turns here and there, as I…
