As a wizard you're not gonna get hit that often in squad mode and since you're socketed for pdef you shouldn't get hit that hard if you do actually get hit so low HP isn't always bad. You could have something like 10k pdef (not probable but possible) so your high defense makes up for it. You should know your own…

generally... sage = more chi, atk, ele def demon = more crit, enemy control (stun freeze etc), pdef, -chan sage is more for TW demon is more for pk/1v1 to say the least.
