game wont start for me even after re installing both arc and game several time - it started just fine before 2nd april, no files are under quarantine, i can install again but im so sure same thing will happen. i used reg fix, i even used old installation from my old pc. anyone have same issue exept Quinie that quit over this?

i think i got it, even tho arc wont install anymore and has some error the issue is random antivirus software blocks ur game from bein started in arc.

My main concern with the Arc Client is it's memory leak which causes the client to crash repeatedly. There has been non-stop complaining about this issue for weeks from players having to relog repeatedly during runs. Hopefully they fix this in a next patch or two if PWI can only now be run through the ARC client.

Just wondering how dead the servers are now after this awesome data mine software implementation? Like it wasn't bad enough before this. I will keep trying to log on once a month to see if they listen to the players and reverse their course. If nothing else, I am happy they did this now I was about to level all my alts to 100 and then infuse real cash to get good gears...thank god for the timing

Been fun all, but it looks like this game might be dead to me.

There is almost no difference from before to after Arc integration on Dreamweaver at all.

What's the point of ARc then? Probably been answered a ton of times, but I find this utterly useless. ARc isn't a company buying out PWE, or PWI.

Arc looks like a Copy Version of Steam with just PWE games. They're monitoring us now?

before arc i used to just be able to loggin to the game normally enough now whenever i try to do so arc springs up, i try to loggin an it keeps saying the loggin times out, then i try to create a new acc with my email to see if it's just me an it says my emails been taken so nothing's wrong with my account being registered. i tried to enter normally again after uninstalling arc via the elementclient folder an it just popped up that i need arc installed, did that an tried to enter again but arc just keeps popping up, so basically all of my accounts are unacessible. can't even try to enter the game. why the **** did yas think this patch was necessary an what dyas plan on doing bout it? cuz right now i'm pissed that i can't even get into the game. i've put more than a couple of hundred dollars into this game an don't think my money, time or effort should be wasted because of this horrible program

I don't mind arc but it's kinda pointless right now without the DQ page, rankings, server status, core and all that stuff

You guys should have added those things to arc before you made it mandatory.

Thing is they don't want testers, so they don't have to reward em. Like back in 2009: The person that reports most game/quest/stuff-issues and helps the most the improve the game will receive a reward.

Only the purest will get some pixels yeay. Instead of to hire just some ppl to search for mistakes.
And lately they didn't fix any of that whats been reported. No wonder the devs turned back, I don't think egs and quite frankly this tb been planned by the original devs. But fair enough we want more content STILL. so now its been almost a year I wanted to want for new classes. But I don't want anymore.
It's not to blame the GMs that we are forced on arc now, but it's on them to make a change so we can play easily again.

Just the same as:
Can't deny botting, implement it to game. So botter wont need an extra programm
Can't deny ini changes, post a guide and implement it to game.
Cant't allow ä,ö...in game for eg germans, but let russians have their vodka, brasil ppl their "head roll over keys"language. I am okay with many but excluding some regions.
Can't deny dreamchaser codes, put out arc and force ppl to use it to get it. Same as blessings. Fair enough you can get blessing, dqrewads and any relevant info from old site still.
And what that **** with banning lands from play? Such racist here.
Replace NV with NW, put out a title system which needs you to run NV, but wont give you a title for NW.

Mostly I still hate x% more zen, if you charge or free zen for US citizens. ******nit you racist or what? Just give us free stuff w/o any due. Unlike arc it's free ****, we don't want.

who been talking about steam: exactly. I don't buy games via steam anymore since that games will corrupt on me if steam does.

Don't want, don't need. No use, no improve. Only extends the number of lag, time to load, and 30%of time I don't have any servers to logon (but w/o arc its all avaible). Much more crashes.
Now I die on bosses again which I did myself unbuffed back in my 90s except for now I am 2reawaken 100 again and all buffs maxed. Sometimes it feel like all except r9 got nerfed. r9 got good improvements. Speaking of ranks, why we get arc instead r10. CN has r10 as far I know, go implement that on game and **** the r93rd+12josd ppl. Or are you afraid they won't put 800$ again?

I hate to be so negative, but I still do not understand why ARC exists, why perfect world entertainment is pushing ARC so hard. And why is pwi/pwe forcing us to use ARC if we want to play their game.

Up until now, I was even willing to give ARC a shot. I could use it whenever I needed to get a jones blessing, or redeem a dreamchaser pack. I could also ignore it whenever I didn't need it, and launch the game normally like I did since I started the game in early 2010.

Ever since the Arc integration patch, its been a nightmare and a half just getting the game to work on my computer again. ARC couldn't tell that perfect world international was already installed on my computer, and the game would not start no matter what I did. After completely uninstalling and reinstalling both ARC and pwi again and messing around with the options, it works now.

I'm sure you mean well, and there could have been a good reason to integrate pwi with arc like you did. I'm just feeling disappointed, that's all. b:surrender

Well arc might be not the best move of PW (either tho i don't have huge issues with arc, just a little one for now) but did you learn riding a bicycle without falling?

Programs like this act the same, they fall and get back up eventually most stuff will get better over time. If everyone is complaining 24/7 about 1 thing instead of taking actual actions.

Please get ya'll stuff together, make 1 and I repeat 1 thread wich says as title ARC PROBLEMS, and just post the issue (1 line) there would be so much easier for a developer to see where the actual issue is instead of getting mods to read all the 4448494894984 threads that contain Arc and known that 99.7% of all the threads that contain arc are litterly just complains about it, but they don't state the problem that they have.

Stuff won't get fixed when the higher-ups don't know what the actual issue is.

I also didn't want to learn to ride unicycle.

went something wrong with my PWI. I open pwi, then pop-ups arc it says:

Cannot launch the game again while it
is running. Please exit the game and
try again.

but no game is open... i can't log in pwi anymoreb:angry

Go to taskmanager and check your processes, see if there is no process of arc and pw open.

I said "STILL not an improvement".

I do believe Arc will be very useful and functional it IS the future way to launch PWI and every other PWE game. It is just STILL useless right now.

If you refer to this post, you might agree with some of my ideas on how to make Arc structured, functional and useful for all.

yep I hear ya I cant get in to pwi anymore eather my anti viris said it was a viris and took it off of my comp and now im reinstalling it b:angry and that aint it my anti viris said that the patcher was a viris and it was removing it this is the 2nd time I installed it

You must be using Mcafee. if you are, visit there website for the removal tool and never install that **** in your pc again. BTW. learn how to use your av program. set the file to trusted. also learn to use your computer, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\PWI_en\element and run elementclient.exe . go nuts, put a shortcut to that on your desktop. run multiple clients. wth. LOL.

So DL'd it just for code redemption. Seems fine on that front. Haven't tried adding PWI to it or w/e yet and probably won't until they bring in DQ system replacement, but I noticed at the end of the installer, there is literally an option to opt-out of information collecting or w/e for the people with tin foil hats.

Go to patcher directory, rename stringstab.txt to anything else (stringstab_old.txt for example)
Go to launcher directory,copy stringstab.txt from there and paste inside patcher directory.
Run the game through patcher.exe or elementclient.exe

Can't make people redownload stuff PWE, better bypass arc than redownloading 8gb

I believe the correct directory is C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International.
