    Disable javascripts on your browser and you will be able to get to the old page without redirecting.

    Another thing I don't see people mentioning is the fact that there are not multiple tabs on this. I like to keep multiple tabs open on threads so I can come back and refresh them all and not have to navigate through a field of trash, now I have no choice. I don't like this at all.

    I'm ok with blessings being taken away, but some notice would have been highly appreciated. However, without blessings I'll be obliged to unlike PWI on my facebook page. I never liked Arc and now to so much as check sales before I log in I have to open arc anyway. To be quite honest it's bull.

    I've never been legitamately angered by a PWI update, but this is just so annoying that it warrants some flaming.
    It is said that apple pie is best served Al La Mode, so if you are the pie, consider me your ice cream.

    Uh I don't get it :< my blessing page works fine, I just can't access it normally; I have to type the website I linked in my previous post.
    I think you might be jumping to conclusions too quickly. They have no reason to remove the blessings anyway.

    Yeah, but the pwi page uses javascript to redeem DQ points. Any more bright ideas?

    To Sparkie:

    While I can understand PWE trying to emulate Steam, you could at least have given us the common courtesy we deserve by alerting us that any and all services provided will henceforth be exclusively available via the Arc platform.

    I realize there will be a lot of people saying they're quitting, not charging, blah blah, but the large majority of players (99%?) will download Arc, get used to it and get on with their lives.

    Anyway, off to download Arc.
    there are no stupid questions, just a lot of inquisitive idiots.

    I suggest you don't clear your cache for a long time then.

    Right now any of us viewing things up-to-date will get an instant redirect if Javascript isn't disabled. Just tried it on 4 different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Safari) with the same result.

    This was both with typing it in manually, using bookmarks, and going to the page via the main perfectworld.com site.

    Yep I can get to the old blessings page http://pwi.perfectworld.com/facebook without redirect when I disable JavaScript, BUT the blessing tool uses JavaScript b:angry

    I really can't believe they did this ****. Reminds me of that movie where the dude was waterskiing behind the boat yelling "YOU ****" cuz the guy was driving too fast and the driver was like "what did he say? GO FASTER!!!"

    I still refuse to download this piece of bloatware onto my pc. Im afraid the least I can do as a protest is dislike the facebook page...
    Please, if you have any sense stop forcing us to download unnecessary things against our will.

    The way I see it really, is now the community is divided between those who have access to the page and those who keep getting redirected. Best course of action could either be to remove the reward page entirely, or remove the redirect.

    My browser uses no script, no script is bloking something called akamai.net or something like that, by that way the page displays, however if I attempt to select a server , character, etc it redirect me to pwi again, and if I allow this akamai thing the pop up arc thing display b:laugh

    so even if it shows the Facebook page I cant get a thing lol..

    I guess ill just install arc on my old laptop.

    Either way I doubt they removed blessings completely (they have no reason to) so I won't draw any conclusions until I see some official answer I suppose but the question is...when and how are we going to be able to get blessings now P:

    But I think unliking the page is a good way of protesting.

    The problem with that is page needs javascript to work, and even turning it OFF did not get rid of the fekking redirect on my end. All I can say is they have a lot of nerve forcing Arc off on us when, number 1, absolutely no one wanted it, number 2, it certainly doesn't work for ****, and number 3, a lot of people put a lot of time, effort and coins into building up DQ points and we can't access them. If the staff transfers them and makes it so we can still get the items on the rewards list with DQ points on Arc, the complaint is withdrawn, but if they don't they have a lot of explaining to do. And possibly some paying to do as well.

    use/install firefox browser - select addons and install *NoScript* - go to pwi.perfectworld.com and login as normal, do nothing else - go to blessing page and open NoScript, select allow facebook.com and facebook.net - login to facebook and u should get your blessings

    Because uniking something has ever caused change especially from a company renowned for completely disregarding their playerbase's opinions on not beating their game senseless?


    So when do we get a response on why were being forced into a steam clone? And enough with "I'm not sure why x is happening I'll go ask and get back to you" PWE is clearly not big enough that people dont know whats going on.

    People need to quit complaining about no blessing. We played this game for how long without them? If they want to make it fair to all just cut them out completely and not allow those who have them stored in mailboxes to use them

    But when I click on select reward, server, or character, it takes me to the main pwi page...

    Fortunately there are plenty of games besides PWI; there's a thin line here, and I don't know why PWE keeps jumping over it like some 6 year old crossing an imaginary state border.
