    Same issues here. 101 Psychic, R8 Recast weapon. Crash on character selection screen. I submitted a few tickets, only one of which I got a mediocre response of "we're looking into it". The rest have been met with just sending me copy/paste out of their faq's.

    Extremely frustrating is what this is. Especially for cash shoppers since you roll a bunch of money into a toon and then it just gets yanked away - fault or no fault. Just fix the damn problem already, and this will be the first time that I DO believe there should be compensation due to the amount of time lost on our toons. I'm sort of lucky in that I have another toon that can keep me busy but many do not. That being said, my psychic is getting behind and the whole situation just wreaks.

    I just hope they keep "spend 5 hours re-installing the game" as an automated ticket response, makes me proud of the depth of customer service this quality game provides.

    Finally got some kind of response from submitting tickets, not good news. They say they are aware of the issue, have contacted devs, and should b fixed within the next "few" maintenances. That could be this week, next week, or months. Sigh, glad there are other options becoming available soon.

    i hope its not a few weeks. its not fair that we cant play our toons for something that isnt our fault. and yes i know there are you trolls ready this and dont care that we cant play but you know you would be complain if it was your toon

    I would say couple months. They didn't fix till now wrong sage Earth Vector. They don't care.

    This latest update seemed a bit rushed, graphical glitches crashing clients seems something that could have been avoided via some testing, but i'm thinking they rushed the expansion to coincide with the release of some other games. See what happens i guess, feel bad for u pys's that are victims of poor planning on pw's side.

    I so hope this thread is unnecessary after tonight's maintenance. On a sad side note, it seems the recompense is a 15% off zen coupon, really just an extension from last weekends sale. Sweet :P

    I was thinking about posting a fix which will allow you to login but if rendering that weapon model really does cause the client to crash you would crash the client of anyone that sees you after you login.

    That could be a good way to clear up the congestion in west arch though.

    Yeah, i'm super excited, what should i get? Maybe a marvelous pack with a chance for shoes? I will fer sure spend my 15% bonus zen on that.

    So the patch notes are up and no mention of fixing this glitch b:cry

    The stupid part is the tickets I submitted have now been closed with a message that says "we assume this issue has now been solved" how is it solved when they haven't done anything to fix it ??

    Even better is the third mail "You recently contacted Perfect World's customer service team and we'd love to know how we did. With just two minutes of your time, you can help us make our service team better!" I can't find the You Suck! option on the survey.....

    So we would have to PAY in order to get our 'compensation'? That isn't a compensation at all!
    I calculated that for each week i can't play i miss out on about 18 mil ingame coin, 515 prestige and 10 mil xp and that times two cause my two mains are on that account.
    That's not counting special events and instances, just basic dailies.

    I hope they will give us a more substantial compensation.

    Sigh, they did not fix the issue this patch, there goes millions more in game coins. Making it a bit hard to care pwi, and yeesh on the whole my-en situation.

    I just wish they would log into our accounts and remove the weapon, then i could play my sin or my psy with a plain r8 i could buy for a million coins. None of the customer support from pwi has mentioned a gm actually trying to do that for us.

    100% agreed.... I didn't have an issue with the weap as long it was in my bank.

    Suddenly... I want to get recast R8 and swap the model with something else then go around crashing people until it becomes such a huge issue for everyone else that the staff here are forced to take notice and do something about it.

    I took my R8 recast out of the bank, put it on and the game instantly crashed, so in-game crash. Ever since then the game crashes at the character selection page.

    It seems there are enough of us to validate some kind of formal response, and do any of us know if the gm's have tried removing the r8 recast sphere, and put on a different weapon? None of the many responses i have received have directly stated that they have tried this option. Please keep responding to this thread if you have a similar issue, and keep the thread fresh.

    I posted something about this in the Technical support zone, sort of a summary of the problem and some suggestions. Hoping they will read the posts there quicker than they do here.

    I think it would be good if all psychics having this issue could post there too about this problem, supporting what i wrote, and if i missed something add it there too.

    Just annoyed about the lack of official news on this...

    It is very likely we are overlooking something here. We seem to be under the assumption that gms here actually care. Customer service, which i have dealt with in this company for years, has gone from fair to genuinely horrible. Automated responses instructing people to re-install before checking the issue, not answering anyone's emails for days, offering 15% off next zen purchase as recompense. And has anyone actually gotten a response as to whether or not they have tried to remove the weapon and let us use other characters on the same account? If they can let MY-EN disappear in 300 seconds, whats next for us?
