Hey all,



We will be having regular server maintenance tonight from 11pm til 1am.



And for the usual maintenance question:


Do you play PWI with your family members? If so, would you recommend that others give it a shot as well?

    Early manual download link: Patch 586-589 (11.3 MB)

    As usual, do not install that patch until after the servers go down for maintenance or you will not be able to log on until they come back up from maintenance.

    Looks like another minor patch, based on file size alone.

    Uh... I said no such thing. We got that in the 574-580 patch on 11/1/'11, and the only thing I said in that whole darn thread was that BMPs load bottom-up instead of top-down. I didn't bother posting a manual patch link because Aedrian - Lost City beat me to it, and he didn't say that either. Don't believe me? See for yourself.

    I've tried talking my sister into playing but she's not really into the gaming thing...unless its a FPS. My fiancee plays though :3

    im sure sangdoc can read file sizes, recast patch was 700 mb - 1.1 gb approx.

    Yes, my daughter and I both play. I have to admit, I am much more addicted to it than she is tho :)

    AGREE!! 3 years ago when it first started and you had to work on a char to build it up and become something.
    Expansion is a "patch" to momentarily please ppl. But it goes much deeper.
    What is left to do within the game? R8 R9....to achieve this through alot of coin/cash is ridiculous because its not needed to complete anything. Ppl can still do an instance with a good sqd. Rank gets you.....? Uber status and nothing to do with it? No achievements to be had? Whats left to gain here?
    Nothing that has been added over the 2-1/2 years I've played has been anything but a patch to cover the blunder that has turned into this game. New classes are a distraction for the failure to properly build the game. Get a char to 100 and whats there to do - start a new one to get to 100 and.... A new class doesn't fix the viscious circle of the same thing over n over. FC runs to mass lvl a character has created a bottleneck of lvl 100+ and no glimer of hope for a future that offers anything but repitition and boredom.
    I have no regrets for the time spent here.....Meet some amazing people that I will stop in to see occasionally. But my money and my time are best spent elsewhere.

    yes lot of us play all types of pwi games but only on PVE server . thats where the better class of ppls play. have one char . in pvp dont play that one much any more

    I have recomend it to a friend like a year and a half ago but if u ask me i wouldnt recomend this game to anyone anymore lol .

    Yup two brothers, my dad, and myself all this game. I would recommend this game to others as I still haven't found a free to play MMO that has quite as much style as this one, the landscapes and customization options are just fantastic. I would caution them though to only buy cosmetic items from teh cash shop if they spent anything and not to pay attention to other people's gear.

    For the past 3+ years my husband and two teen-aged sons have been playing on the HL server together. It gives us something to talk about, has become something of a hobby and we all have fun together, and competing against one another. Yes, I would recommend more families squad together!
    Cash-shopper? That just means I have farmed REAL LIFE, and I want to spend my recreational funds in this game. +12 or GTFO!

    My wife and I play. It makes it easy to communicate in parties, but if it ever falls apart, one of us is gonna have to leave the server. Another advantage is that if she needs a barb, she can give a yell and here I come. It works the other way around too. My brother used to play with us and it was a good way to keep in touch with the family over distance, but then he up and got married and she isn't a gamer, so he isn't any more either.
