    I saw the answer for R9 but...for the R8 daggers will you be able to keep your refines and shards when you reforge them?

    as a psy with full r8 armor that is a question i would like an answer too, im leaning towards yes cause the pic someone like earlier was of a barb with armor i've never seen before

    There are three steps in making the new rank 8 stuff: 锻造、衔环、魂印. I am not sure what is the difference between the second and third step, seems like they are both recasting.

    To make the new rank 8 weapons, you need the follow:


    your old rank 8 weapon
    999 纪念币 (not sure where this comes from, probably guild base dungeon)
    299 利刃徽记 (from guild base dungeon)
    15 干将之石 (from guild base dungeon)
    20 million coins

    To retain gems and sockets, you will need the transfer stones (chienkun)


    To make the new rank 8 armor, you need:

    your old rank 8 armor
    999 纪念币
    200 圆盾勋章 (guild base dungeon)
    9 坚壁之石 (guild base dungeon)
    10 million coins

    To recast weapon (衔环):

    your new rank 8 weapon
    90 纪念币
    12 利刃徽记
    3 衔环之石
    2 million coins

    To recast armor:

    your new rank 8 armor
    90 纪念币
    9 圆盾勋章
    3 衔环之石
    1 million coins

    To recast weapon (魂印):

    your new rank 8 weapon
    90 纪念币
    10 利刃徽记
    3 魂印之石
    2 million coins

    To recast armor:

    your new rank 8 armor
    90 纪念币
    5 圆盾勋章
    3 魂印之石
    1 million coins

    I would liken the cost to being similar to tier 2 nirvana, both in time or money. If it takes an asinine amount of mats to recast, you can bet your *** drop rates are going to be extremely low.

    I bet this is for every single piece of r8 armor.

    So my thoughts are on:

    New r8 armor for old races, buy wrist & boots from candies & recast every single piece.

    Great, lets see how many people still play barbs when practically any r8 sin can kill you in a couple seconds. Unless r8 barb gear has like +100 vit each, it's going to become a seriously underpowered class.

    If you guys really think about it...this r8 set bonus for archer/ sins is just cheaper -int..they stil have same amount than wit the usual full aps gear now :P

    R9 will require GST to recast. So...

    It's going to what, double the cost of your R9 to recast it? Triple? Quadruple?

    R8 is going to become more popular than R9 for 'want 5.0 unsparked Sin for Nirvana' WC's.

    This game is just getting more and more expensive... I can't even afford Sage BP, **** getting R9 recast.
