    Looks like they have updated the list of "bad words" (lol @ reading through the list) and then all the usual, guild icons, botique blah blah blah

    New badwords filter. I see banned cyrillic and chinese letters and some not actually "bad" words

    That is the badwords.txt file in the .cup file manual path

    It is all the filtered words in the game.

    Go look for it yourself if you don't believe him

    really? LOL that's a huuuuuge list with some words that aren't even bad. People will just put periods between the letters of what they want to say anyway. They should really put a personal option to filter words, this isn't exactly a small child's game.

    I still don't understand why the actual scientific names for body parts and actions are banned. Slurs and slang, I understand. But banning the scientific names for things is just pretty stupid.

    Personally speaking this game has far too many other bugs and issues for developers to be worried about extending an already too long list of words we cant say. To be honest its childish to be blocking the technical words for body parts, I mean seriously these words are taught in grade school and used by professionals b:surrender . PW needs to be focusing on fixing known issues that have been known issues since ummm closed beta.

    Freedom of speech is intended to prevent the government from repressing newspapers and people by threatening them if they speak badly of an official of said government. It (as has been pointed out before on these forums) has no bearing on a game run by a private institution (aka separate from the government). This is the same as if you were to come into my home and start swearing. I would kindly ask you to not swear the first time (censoring), and the second time would kick you out of my house (banning). Sorry if the analogy is a little crude, it is after midnight, and I'm tired.b:chuckle

    How did you read up on what they patched? Check logs in the folder some how to see what was updated?

    Extended censorship can suck my ****.

    We avoid it anyway, whats the damn point? Give us a censor on/off switch and I wont care, til then il be happily dodging your stupid filter thank you.

    They also renamed Etherblade Arena to "Atrium of Blood", and Shura Path entrance quests to Theater of Blood, and some "minor localizations"; but all in all, nothing new (until the "discovered bug in the new patch" thread appears b:shocked)
