    I know that it was stated that they are fixing the east coast servers but are they doing anything about west coast ones? I am on Heavens Tear and I have been kicked so many times during the night that i am totally frustrated. And are only the east coast servers getting the 2x xp/sp/drops?

    Hmm, so the attackers have switched targets. Looks like they might be ramping up for a much larger attack if they can sustain it.

    Also of note: several games that I play (not related to PWE) are being DoS attacked. I'ma go check WoWs boards and see what they got over there. If they're having issues then we've got a serious group attack happening.

    Edit: So far, found nothing indicating DoS problems. :/

    Archosaur, Sanctuary have gone down too. Many times. And momentary lapses of pure lag.

    So it isnt just east coast servers, its every single server.

    Just figured I would point that out, since for some reason we are focused on 'just' the east coast ones.

    And a weekend of 2x? Really isnt going to appease a lot of those people who were dc'ed in CoA and lost 600 orbs, ijs.

    East coast is down again.

    Might be best to postpone 2x until next week at the least.

    Looking at other boards from PWE games it seems like the FW staff is the only one being upfront about the DDoS attacks.. On the other hand, it's really not up to PWE/PWI to handle this since they can only do so much, it's up to the ISP now.. Makes me wonder what PWE/PWI did to make someone angry enough to DDoS them for a week o.O

    Harshlands is massively lagging again, and i've seen 75% from my friendslist DC, ping was shooting to over 30K

    i got dc and shows that all East Coast servers are offline again , even thought you said the servers where stable ... well they arent plz fix it .

    It's not just the east coast servers, Sanctuary is having issues too. you should see west arch. It's practically a ghost town.

    Took me a couple hours just to be able to log in to post this. Kept getting a 500 error after clicking the login link.

    Any ideas on what's happening? Server over capacity or something?

    I think the title of this sticky is a bit misleading; it implies that PWE hasn't recognized or acknowledged the west coast server issues.

    If it was renamed it would help make it more clear for all the people who are making new threads. b:surrender

    Depends on how much time and effort PWE is willing to put into this.

    This isn't the first time that online games have been targeted by such attacks.

    It isnt about repairing the servers, folks. Its about catching the guys causing it.

    I just hope that they aren't causing irreparable damage to the servers. That would not be a good thing :-/
