The guild base cannot be destroyed. The upgraded expansions can.
The only thing that guild bases have to offer is a fun new PvP instance where you can battle 40 v 40 with a slightly more goal-oriented battle.0 -

Right I should have clarified.
The only useful parts of guild base are aimed at increasing the strength of the guild base or PvP.
Sure it has mobs, but those mobs give 1 xp and are for a quest that gives all of 10k xp. Any random quest on the world map would give similar xp and actually give a reward of coins and/or items. I don't think people are getting guild bases to do quests for less xp and they would usually get.
I've seen people in pq gears,admittedly not that many,but they're around0 -

Currently the PVP in guild bases is unimplemented. Who knows if they'll ever actually add it...

LOL A Place to Haingout and BS, I Love PvP As Much as the next guy( Actualy I think i Like it more =P) but not All Factions are PvP or have The resourses that Other Factions Have and Cant Put Up a Fight, o I believe that PvP is a bad Idea
however there Can be Somethnig Likev castle wars where you can CHALENGE another ( PvP Fans Rejoice =P) that I think will be fun =D0 -
I voted for no, they should let it be like it is.
I play self in a faction who tws, at least we try it^^
Point 1 Why should a faction have the same thing, benefit from it or not doesnt matter, and "just" need to buy it , and the other one needs to fight for?
Point 2 On HT are a handfull strong TW factions, some who try, and feeled hundrets sometimes play tw sometimes not. Why in hell should, lets name it Enrage attack a base from a faction u have never heard from, when they can attack the used enemies^^
There are not 150 timeslots to attack all bases every week, u know.
Point 3 lets say there comes more content for this bases, benefits u well in TW.
TW factions have to fight for it more or less all the time, while u can simply hang out and do nothing than maybe "grind" for it. Ur faction grows and grows and u decide one day u want to tw. Way 1 they make it perm. , so u need to build up all this base again or no tw for u. Way 2 its not perm. and u just can switch and boom u rock the server, would that be fair?
If u have enough active players in faction who have enough patience to grind in ages for this base, shouldnt it be simple and catch a few to defend it sometimes? Again, there are not 100 timeslots/week that everyone can attackt everyone so im 100% sure the "big strong" tw factions gonna fight themselves. So u MAYBE got attacket from a smaller tw faction, and they are not stronger or weaker than a "standart faction"0 -
Personally, I think it's stupid to make pvp mandatory on a PVE server. Who's idea was that? Players who want pvp should have gone to pvp servers in the first place.
My faction members don't want to level to 3 simply because they don't want the aggravation of faction wars, guild base destruction etc. For those who say "You shouldn't build a base if you aren't willing to defend it" I say, why should we have to pvp at all?
Everyone had the choice of what kind of server to play on. PVE servers being forced to pvp is an example of a lack of consideration for the player base constituency.
There's no reason why guild bases should or need to be attacked by other factions at all. Instead of instilling a sense of accomplishment for factions who bust their *** to amass the ridiculous amount of money and resources to build a base, this system is set up for the cash shop 12 year olds who get a kick out of busting other peoples sand castles. Those who want to enjoy a major accomplishment in faction teamwork are now at the mercy of any group of griefers who banded together to cause as much sorrow to others as they can.0 -

What's the point of a pve server if you want to pvp? Maybe I'm just smarter than everyone else but I thought it was obvious that if you wanted to pvp you maybe would choose a pvp server instead of pve...0 -
I join a Pve sever so that i didnt have to PvP & been the leader Of Smaller faction which doesnt Tw or PVP
like hell am gonna Ask The members of my faction to chip in Coins ' mats & time in a guild base thats so dear to build in 1st palce
Only to have all their hard work kissed Away in a forced PVP then have to rebuild it all again
