    First I have wanted to ask the same thing but I would be surprised if noone would notice and ask instead.
    I would not be surprised if PWE changed their mind and didn't consider these as dq items all of the sudden.

    Well they're technically not DQs, so it would be nice to know.

    Will the Dragon Points accumulate per character or per account? Either way has advantages, but if the higher level DQ items are worth more points (as they are worth more coins) then lower level characters on the same account might profit from a high level character's grinding.

    And that would disrupt PWI's profit margins.

    Count on it being character based, with items having level requirements.

    I believe i saw frankie post that it was per character rather than per account.

    but dq items arent bound

    Actually I asked about that in a separate thread at the first day when DQ-Points where announced, of course I didnt get any satisfying answer.

    I still pray that those will be counted as DQs as well, if not I filled my bank with trash.

    Since Dragon Points thingy isn't coming out tonight, I'ma make a bet that we won't see it 'til december...when the expansion comes out.

    I'd been thinking the same thing - I'm one of many whose inventory is becoming weighed down with DQ items b:sad

    Believe me, any item that boosts exp at my lvl is completely worthless for me. I have no desire to go for lvl cap any time soon. I'm already at that apex. However, if i could trade in the DQs for let's say TT99 gold mats or Lunar Gold mats for relatively cheap (compared to the **** chip prices in game already) then that would be actually useful for me.

    I think the DPoints system's gonna make or break how long I stick around before 2011 gets here.

    id saved all my dq i farmed today QQ was hoping it be in this patch, well sense i quit my sin, im still saving dq,an use that money for mystic/seeker :)

    I have 400 Oblivion Soup, 200 Mystic scales and 50-100 of the other random 71/ 81 DQ. I'm also out of inventory space.

    I gave a BM and a sin a test run and found I didn't like either, so those two have been collecting dust for a long time. Really, I just need to delete them.

    However, stop QQing about my desire to see something that would be of actual use to my character, rather than what I think they have planned. In the past, Esos have been about the most "useful" item they've just "given" away as a reward.

    If we could trade DPs in for cash shop items, that would be great, but since frankie's already confirmed that the items will be untradeable that pretty much leaves those Esos you get for spending 1.5mil at a certain NPC for a coin sink quest that absolutely no one does as one of the main rewards, or other paltry items as one of the main concerns I have with the system.

    If all it does is help you level your alts, more power to you then. I just want the system to be more tangible across a broad spectrum of players. But, I fear it's just going to be geared for a specific set, just like everything else.

    You can put dq items into cupboard. One line in cupboard, that is 8 slots, costs 40 tokens as far as I remember.

    DQ91 (Fine Orbs) have a DPs value of 30, while Condensed Orbs (non DQ item) has a value of 35.

    I took Frankie's quote to mean that the rewards a person takes from DQ points will not be tradeable. Meaning, the items could be cash shop items, but untradeable versions of them.

    Such as; the quest reward Makeover Scroll is untradeable, but if you buy one from the cash shop it is tradeable.

    i still think this DQ Point system is useless... it would be much more simpler to just change the NPC price back

    now the farmers simply sell the DQ items a bit higher than NPCs buy them and players who want dragon points will buy them from the farmers and sell them to the NPCs...

    this might be a nice system.... idk depends have to see what we actually get out of it. But i agree with Sky..... why the hell couldn't they have just raised the price back to normal for PWI and left china's nerf as it was..... seriously.... they make things way too complicated.

    Anyway.... on another note there's a seperate thread started from someone who can't read or notice there's already a thread on this ... lol But he mentions we're GETTING the DQ Points already but we can't see in-game or out what we can get or anything yet. Is this true? Can we sell the DQ's we have saved up now and get the DQ points? And where the heck he see this.... all i see in the patch is they added in localization for the reward system.

    Edit: cmon somone's gotta know that 2nd half...

    The thing we know now is that all items, even those bejond the DQ status have a DQ-P count. So after we know that it would be interesting to figure what we can actually pay with those DQ-Points. (Have 32k DQ-Points waiting for me)

    Hopefully those items will contribute to the gaming experience of all levels from 20 -105.

    All we can do is wait though because I bet poor frankie doesnt know much more than we do, probably only a little bit more.

    I missed something somewhere. How do we know how much each DQ item is worth. (have around 1200 DQs to npcs and counting)

    All I notice was that each dq has a point value now at the bottom. Anyone know if the system is counting the points yet, or if the localization just meant that all they have done so far is put how much they are worth. . .
