So you get 2x drops and 10%less coin per drop. I may be terrible at math but that doesn't seem like anything to be disappointed about so either.
A.) be positive and notice your making more money still or
B.) wait 2 weeks for prices to go down

4 days of double drops, oh god no.... I've lost profit for maybe 2 or three weeks. Do you really think they will do this forever, because the OP sure does act like they will? I think this is the only thread, I have ever been in; that I want to tell the OP STFU.

I personally love this event, I've finally been able to gather the materials and such I needed to make some nice TT weapons. And I didn't have to wait on or choose from greedy sods to do it because more people than me want what they want and won't wait for a price drop. Pfft. OP and their buddies can go emo in a corner like my laptop does when it so much as looks at a graphic heavy game. Maybe you guys can share emo stories about gaming.

It might have been a bad idea to bring this event in as a random event every now and then, it should have been during, say, Christmas or new year or so...

Make it rare, yet regular.

Doesn't kill the economy, yet still people can make some nice money out of it every now and then.

But seriously...You get double drops, and its not as if the mats have fallen by more than 1/2 price. What the person above said, and no one has really proved it wrong

I just want it to stop because I'm getting tired of having to sort through 30-40 pages of TT mats looking for what I want. If they let you jump to say page 35 of the listings (so I can see everything new that's been listed since when I checked 3 hours ago), it wouldn't be so bad. But the AH interface forces you to go through pages 1-34 one by one to get to page 35.

What if we had 5x weekends?
Or how about 5x all the time?
10x? 20x? 100x? 1000000x? 100000000000000000000000000x?

If the answer to any of the above is no, then you get the point.
I think we have already hit the point of oversupply. Not just in tt mats either. Count up how many pages of molds there are in the AH. Or spellbooks.
Its just insane and I hear a lot of complaining about how people cant sell stuff.

I think all the people who want their stuff handed down for (almost) free (which is where its heading) should be playing something other than mmo's. Just my 2c.

Yeah personally I enjoy double drops, but its going to **** the economy for ages. Well... **** it more than it already is.

An addition to expand the filters one or two more levels would help narrow search and result in less pages to view. Or they could implement an actual search by item or level within AH. That would be awesome.

Back to OP....your kidding right? This event is great, I love seeing some of the TT mats lower in price. If it means you don't make as much who gives a ****.

Great work GM's and dev's, keep the new ideas flowing.

THINK before you QQ. Now I haven't read all the posts and not sure if this was mentioned, but THINK. Yeah the price of mats have gone down of course, but YOU, not just everyone else, including YOU are getting twice as many drops in one run. Sure, the mats you farmed won't sell for as much as they were before, but you are also getting TWICE as many in one run. Even if you sell them at half price as you did before, you'll still make more money because instead of getting 2 mats in 2 runs and sell for 500k each, spending 1 sub and half hour per run, you are getting 2 mats in one run and if you sell them for 250k each, you are still making 1 mil but have only spend half of the time farming and half as many subs to open TT.

Since you know this event won't be every weekend, you could also save the mats to sell for later. I've seen some TT mats double in price then went back down within the time of a couple of weeks for no apparent reasons. Even if you don't want to wait and want money now, there are people that are willing to invest. You can easily selling the mats to them for more than half of the original price, therefore, still making more money than the start of this event.

In addition, coins lose buying value when there are too much of it and not enough goods to the bought, aka inflation. Two ways of controlling inflation is to decrease money supply and increase the amounts of goods. The past two events did just that. Jolly Jones were a big coin drain since 100k was less than what a Guardian Scroll is worth so most people used coins. This event is now increasing the supply of goods in the market to match the increased coins from the chests of coins and best tokens. Sure, coins and NPC-able items are also dropping twice as much, but their value is small comparing to the large increase of TT mats.
