Normal drop rate next week please

So the GMs think they finally found an event everyone will like, yes, I am talking about the double experience and drop rate weekend. Well let me tell you they are wrong.
All the excesses are bad. Having a double experience and drop rate weekend once in a while isn't bad, but having too many too often is bad.
Let me tell you that I am one of those players classified in MMOs as "farmers" which are those who farm mats, either from the field or instances and we practically make our living out of that. I farm Twilight Temple. The rise of gold at the start of the anniversary pack event scared me, but then the price of Twilight mats went up. In the end it was like if prices of gold just had gone up a little bit.
However, now you came out with this double exp, and drop rate weekend. Twilight Temple became the Klondike (sorry if I misspelled there) of Perfect World. Everyone was going there because they think they will make a lot of money. Nevertheless, people are stupid and overflowed the Twilight Mats market. So, if we go back to the laws of economics: if a certain item has great abundance, will it be expensive or cheap? That's right, it will be cheap. Now Twilight mats are losing value, and gold prices keep being high. This is making me enjoy the game less. Now my income is actually low. Pretty much I had been able to buy about 10 gold per week since many months ago, even way before the anniversary event no matter what the price of gold was. Now I can't do that anymore.
I am not the only suffering this. A lot of people I know who farm Twilight have been complaining about this. Some have even said that farming is worthless now. Our mats are selling slowly or not selling at all.
GMs please, it's ok this event, but please don't do it every weekend! Although I would prefer if this kind of event were only with double experience always.
P.S. The people who rushed to the Klondike were also stupid. Many died in the wilderness because they only took the equipment for mining and left what a person would need for surviving in Alaska (LOL).

go QQ somewhere else. who cares if you cant farm TT? you're a veno! you make more money than anyone else regardless of where you grind/farm. and yes, i know you are a veno, because only a veno would farm TT, and QQ when it gets nerfed (profit-wise)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Sorry, but I find it hard to sympathize. -.-
TT was designed as a means for players to be able to farm their own high quality armor sets cheaply. Not for mat farmers to exploit and make easy millions at the advantage of others.
Sure, I agree too many of these events is pushing it. Profit made from grinding only injects more coin into the system which only inflates prices. But TT mat's are practically non npc'able, nothing gets inflated from it and everyone gets nice armour, I really don't see the problem here. TT droprate was kinda too low in the first place. If you really want to complain about something, complain about gold prices, NOT your inability to get rich off the community.0 -

Too bad that OPs did not have courage to post at least under her main character <you do not go farm TT whit character lower then 7X> but instead she chose to hide on lvl 1 newbie...0

Thank you for the event.
I farmed about 90 % of the materials needed for my TT 90 set. b:victoryInactive on HT

this thread is now officially about thanking the GMs for this event
thanks GMs 8D
i hope this continues, as i know we'll all be greatly appreciative for the boost to our tideborn leveling
sidenote: as long as this event doesn't occur more often than each weekend, all is good[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Oh good, is this the new official "gift horse in the mouth" thread? Because I was looking for a place to QQ:
Thank you GMs for double XP and drops. HOWEVER, when I was choosing a server during log-in this morning I realized that it states I've only been getting "1.5X Spirit".
Clearly we need to break out the pitchforks and torches. I'll be submitting a class-action support ticket asking - nay - demanding everybody receive the missing 0.5 portion of Spirit they were promised.
(No, I'm not being serious, although I am curious if the 1.5X Spirit is true or not.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

rofl, couldn't make money?
i made enough money in past 2 weeks on lvl 76 veno to be able afford herc and all that thanks to this event
and well barbs, clerics and especially venos were busy with tt runs not so many dd classes, but they could get cheaper tt mats, sounds fair. could make it even more longer so prices drop even more.
+ gold price is not high, get used to it. should be easy if u r veno0 -

And my pets still only get normal exp! Why don't my pets get double exp too? Especially my lvl 55 QQ bird. How do you ever expect him to lvl? It's not like I can take him into the Cube with me. (Please allow QQ birds in instances, already!) Also, do you know how hard it is for venos to lvl all their pets when they have a full pet bag? (Also, can we increase the size of our pet bags? 10 pets is nowhere near enough.) Please, won't somebody think of us venos?!! b:cry

Wow. How do you complain about getting more drops? I am so sympathetic. Notrly.
Anyway, thank you GMs for doing something that actually benefits the players and doesn't cost us ca$h. b:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I agree. Experience can stay but not 2x drops please. Maybe for children whose playing, they like it, but they don't understand economy. TT mats price falling down. Rare mats became less rare. Every1 can have the best what game offer, which killing goal and effort of gathering the best armor, weapon etc. Unfortunately , it killing pleasure of game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

I think it has less to do with GM's "not understanding the economy" and more to do with you and the other "QQ @ eventers" being able to see 2 feet infront of you.0 -
Wow... just... wow. Seriously, some people will find something to complain about no matter how good something is that is given to them.
As is frequently stated on another game forum I post at often and even *gasp* play now and then:

I completely agree w/ this thread-jack.
Tyvm to the GMs for another double xp/sp/drops weekend. Don't listen to the whiners, they have nothing better to do. b:shutup- The Gaming Gearhead

I'm glad that you understand. Go back to school.
I'm playing com.games almost 25years. And i know what is killing the pleasure of game. Do you like it, if every1 could have everything in game? I don't think so.b:angry[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
