I don't normally post in threads like these, as I feel that opinions and constructive criticisms get lost amongst the complaints. But here goes;

I'm a cash shop user-but I have a budget. The Anniversary Packs are a frustration. They give real benefit to some players (mostly cash shop users) and hinder non-cash shop users by decreasing the "real value" of ingame coin.

The Anniversary Pack Events don't personally affect my game play, or my enjoyment of the game, I do see how they frustrate other players-both CS and non-CS users. The economy is adversely affected and things like in-game Reputation are bought instead of earned.

Ultimately, the Anniversary Pack Events, if they keep occurring, will decrease the player base of this game due to pure frustration from the Non-CS'ers at not being able to keep up. (Now I know this isn't all of the non-CS'ers but a generalization.)

I would rather see TT run drops get a spike for a week or so than another Anniversary Pack Event.

anni packs is just like hacking, only you pay for it, you get all the good stuff for doing NOTHING in-game

This post isn't directed at GMs. It's directed to whoever decided to do this because they missed the cash flowing in like it was during the event. It's almost like a deliberate attempt to anger every hard working player and drive them out to leave nothing but P2W's.

I have loved this game since I first started it, it's an amazing and in-depth game with a lot to do and enjoy, and I have done my best to do things for my server to help out. Awhile back I posted on a thread asking when the last time was that I THOUGHT about quitting. I'm not saying I'm quitting, but I at least have to update that thread now. It's not easy to break my faith in people, good job.

I'm sure this idea will be buried in other posts, but maybe the right person to pass it on as a suggestion will read it. I think you guys really missed an opportunity here with packs to help alleviate gold prices.

Going by the feedback from the old packs, what upset players wasn't the packs themselves so much as the rare items from them. Why not have instead done something like make a new pack such as 50 silver for a pack of 10 tokens (no rare items, just normal tokens), it could have been called token pack or whatever, and then sold that instead. I guarantee you that would be popular and it even would have fit in decently with current items obtainable from both tokens and the CS (at that ratio, 90 silver for 10 tele's, 4.5 gold for 10 eso's, 90 silver for 10 sockets, 2 gold wardrobe/cupboard sotnes) while likely not affecting gold prices much, and making the items from normal token handins a bit more obtainable.

Anyways, I suppose you could always do it as a future idea... the worst things added to the CS in that case would then be exp, rep, and chips.

Guys, this is not constructive criticism, this is the GM trying to hold all the sheeps together in one topic so they won't loose control over the forum.
Like I've said times and times before: PWI will do absolutely everything possible to push the gold prices up. High gold prices are extremely beneficial to the heavy CS, and PWI is making money due to CS.
I was an occasional CSer, and I was feeling good about it.I mean you support the game/devs, you get some little extra and unique items, and that was nice. But now, this game is about who's charging more gold.
Beside, I spoke with a lot of ppl that tried to open boxes this morning. Everyone was quite pissed off at he drop rate.
Now, while we were exchanging info, the WC was spammed by the Duke with the same player being lucky over and over and over and over again. Actually, there were 2 of them, but one, and every1 knows who he is, was absolutely insane. And not for 5 min or 10 min. The shouting went on and on for about 35-40min ( then I left home for work). This to me smells fishy. I don't care about the "he's lucky" bull**** someone will try to feed me, I think there are a few players set on purpose by GMs to be "lucky", kinda' like advertisement, but waay easier to catch you. I was in cube in both jail rooms and sitting around I was counting seconds between duke shouts about this guy: there were about 10-15 every 20 sec or so...then it went down to about 1-2 every 2 minutes. I swear the guy got at least 20-25 items from boxes in a 30 min span.
I even wonder if this kind of gambling is legat. I mean is not banned specifically by a law or something, but I'm going to talk to some lawiers. This gold sale stuff is basically a Casino inside every house, with no age limit or anything.
