You can be sure that when you guys are upset about high Gold prices, we become concerned for our players who can't afford to charge their ZEN directly.

    We also realize that lately it seems like it's been nothing but sale after sale. That's simply because the large content update we had today required a lot of work from the development team, and with the upcoming additions of the Bounty Hunter and Warsong City (very soon) it's easy to see how their plate has been full.

    Now finally. There are some monumental updates on the way for PWI. I cannot go into the specifics of what they are, but I can say that upon having the news of these updates fall upon my ears, I was not only shocked beyond belief, but more excited than I've been for any previous content update/expansion.

    I really don't like the return of these packs. Especially since there's no anniversary to celebrate. Or is this some new anniversary? In that case, can I also get a free mount then? (sarcasm)

    I quite often shop in the cash shop and for a simple reason. It's a fun game, it's graphics don't make your eyes bleed so that should be rewarded. But this is just insane!
    I understand PWE is a company and that they want to make money. That's normal. But releasing anniversary packs when there's no anniversary is not the way to do it. If you want people to spend money on your game, try adding new, fun items to the cash shop. I dunno, release a few original mounts (or the ones you once promised to add but never did), some nice flygear, some very nice clothing. Be creative people and listen to your playerbase, they might have some good ideas. I've seen some very nice things on this forum that really should be added.

    The players are basically cattle, the GMs are the farmers / shepherds / whatever.
    This is a topic to encage the raging cows that don't give milk (anymore).
    The good cows who give lots of milk will just keep getting treated.

    I don't like..

    There are people becomin insane rich again.. And the poor people can't afford anything anymore..

    The difference between them is getting bigger and bigger..

    And yeah 1 month was enough.. Now stop it... Or if you celebrate 1 year and 1month pwi, then give me a mount for beiing in pwi for 1 year now!!(I joined october and missed the mount grrr)

    I wonder if you guys actuelly know that this packs are going to lower the amount of players you have?

    And that ingame economie or how ever its written is going to be completly messed up for ever?

    honestly in the end this event even hurts csers it adds massive inflation to coin values ... thus even though thier making double on gold sales EVERY item in game is doubling or tripling in price. honestly i played this game because it HAD a good balence between cs----items you had to earn and it kept prices reasonable to what you could farm pve wise. so even a none cser could afford things this is not the case atm nor will it be the case by nov. honestly by november your not gonna see ppl selling items for coins its gonnab e for r/l money cause coins wil lhave almost no value at all. if ppl spend even half as much as they did last time your looking at 750k- 1m gold prices at the end and 700-800k after restabalizing making simple hp hiros cost 2 mill i for one would rather bring my wallet to another game then tolerate another month of this garbage. and actually hell while your at it why dun ya sell gm and mod powers in the cash shop everythings for sale right?

    Im sorry to post again at the same topic but I just have to say something more.

    Have you ever taken into account how we manage to survive in PWI? Let's clear this out through an example.

    A high-level cleric. Needs Hp AND Mp charms to be considered useful. Many co-players will say that a cleric needs a Res Scroll and a Guardian scroll when in squad.

    Daily Crazy Stones.

    Every 10 levels we need TT gear. Have you seen the mat prices lately? If there's someone that his/her faction does not have the power to help him with his TT runs, either he finds a random squad with the fear of being stolen at the end or leave faction for a stronger one.

    You reward us with Chest Of Coins (1mil coins), but it requires Hammer to open it? Hahahahaha. Hilarious.

    And you expect us to do all these and pay for these by grinding?????? While the drop rate is as low as the centre of the earth? Even if we grind 24/7, it is not possible to achieve all these in a short time. I do know some players being 92-93 and still do not have the coins to pay for TT mats. Do not make me start saying about TT drops?!

    And now you bring Anni Packs? OMG! As a friend stated before, at least make them a permanent CS item under a new more creative name. Or increase the drop rate so we can afford to buy gold via AH, and credit card holders will charge more often since we will be able to buy gold.

    At this rate, we cannot participate in this 'event'. We do have other priorities. We do have to buy 20-30 packs and be lucky to get something useful out of these packs. But when a pack costs 500k.... ffs, not possible.

    By the way, this topic does show the 'popular demand' for the return of the anni packs........

    Great job PWI! Not only for blatantly money grubbing at your players, but for once again completely avoiding the whole situation by sticking all the criticism threads into 1 easily deletable-ignorable thread!


    Apparently no real manager of anything reads these comments so idk why im posting. But if some does happen to come across it i want them to know a few things.

    1. You haven't put any ACTUAL GAME CONTENT into the game for at least 2 months now. But yet you've catered to the cash shoppers nicely by putting in an event that basically takes your game and turns it into a private server game where anyone can have what they want. (except in your case they just have to pay insane amounts of real cash to do so.) This COMPLETELY breaks the game. What point is there for ANYONE now to run the instances for frost or lunar when they can just buy tons of these packs. Not to mention you can also socket the uber items with the highest gems and put 2-4 sockets in them with the same packs.

    2. You've done nothing to show the game population that you are TRYING anything. All people are seeing is a continuous sham to try and make people pour money into this game. No one is fooled, we all know youre making exuberant amounts of money. (what $8 a share to almost $50 within a year?)
    You keep taking our money but you dont show us wtf we're paying for.

    3. Sales do NOT equal content. Just opening more and more ways up for cash shoppers to get ahead of a dead end game is not a very good business plan. PUT IN CONTENT for people to get interested in and therefore grease the wheels on their cash. If people can just keep buying their characters and all of the equipment they could possibly need versus a non cash shopper, then WHATS THE POINT OF THE GAME? Endgame is already extremely dull and pointless. And what are you doing? Shooting people straight to the top so they can be bored and unhappy with an unsatisfying game with no end content.

    So in other words put something into the damn game with all the money youre making. And make it fast and as non-buggy as possible, cause youre losing people all day long with this money grub fest.

    The increased imbalance in the game does ruin the game-play.

    A suggestion: i don' t mind having to work hard in game to get some of the nice stuff you can get in the packs. To remove the imbalance a bit, you could increase the drop-rate in Frostcovered City for example (the drop-rates are just ridiculous in there) and make Lunar Glade, FCC and some of the TT just a bit easier/ more accessible for the levels they are meant for.
    Make it a bit more doable to get our endgame gear by actually playing the game too...

    I just can't believe my eyes...Economy was already destroyed by the first month of these crappacks and now they bring them back to destroy the balance and economy even more,if there is even anything left to destroy.

    Looks like all the constructive criticism we gave about these wasn't even cared about. Pointless to try to give anymore constructive criticism since their answer seems to be:"Hey they hated it, Lets do it again and see how much they hate it now!"

    Popular demand by the higher ups,not by players. Greed i say,and nothing more.

    Goodbye pwi, was fun so far. Now the game is ruined.
