    Which looks reminiscent to this one life SIMulator game which I will SIMply not mention here (because of the rules, no, not really, I just like workarounds) - in designing clothing and stuff.
    Edit: I forgot to finish my main point in this - I was gonna go for "It's simplicity in creation and design makes it lean towards a 'no, this probably wont make it that expensive'")
    (Reminiscent in the terms that you can create your own designs with that similar palette.)

    But I digress.

    I think that if this cash shop modification is kept out for a long period of time, the ends justify the means. Even if it does cost alot, it'll make up for it.

    Ok, yes i see, and I suppose I am being a bit negative. Just trying to take into consideration the details. If yall really want to have it, people need to respond to the poll. And possibly talk to the gaming directors. You may also need to make a short motivational oh what's the word, speech essay ext... And they may or may not decide to do it. But if they do it for Barbs, Venos need to be considered as well.

    Well, for us to be able to convince the producers, we'd better find out the actual complications besides money. Because if this feature is cash shopped, then it'll cancel out because it'll pay for itself.

    Anyway, I doubt this will happen. Let the GMs see it all they want (since this is NOT the first time this has been mentioned, they're probably TIRED of seeing it by now), but it's gotta get past the Chinese first. Since the white tiger is a sacred animal in their culture, there is a very poor chance of them changing it.

    Yeah, unless people buy themselves out of that niche. (Like how people bought themselves out of the crowd by buying clothing). I suggested that the other animal skins should be bought from the cash shop and be worn as clothing for the barb's. It can be an aside for the "Special" Equipment. Just like Aerogear or genie's in the Normal Equipment.
    Perhaps I should separate the two ideas from the first post.

    And as far as culture goes. It does go a long way, but I don't think that culture is what people think in any part of the world (even in China) when they are playing Perfect World.

    I mean, it sure is important, they can still have that, but at least give the choice of being able to have your 'tru-er' form.

    Christian groups HAVE tried to sue Nintendo because Pokemon makes a vague reference to the theory of evolution, so you never know what people will do.

    Hell i dont think id mind paying 2 gold for a proper skin for true form.

    I dont know about alot of the others but i dont care about thats its a symbol for courage and bravery in china....im not in china so unless all barbs are going to be turned into tigers it would be nice if true form matched the appearance of the barb wither it be a panda or a wolf lol

    They say it's because Chinese tradition that we don't get some things, but you can ride lobsters and buy modern clothing as well.

    I'm going with the "It would be a gigantic amount of work" opinion on this. Not saying the devs are lazy, but they would have to make all new animations, models, and rewrite a lot of skill texts, and remake the skill animations and effects.

    I'd expect this sort of thing to be a huge add on all it's own, or cash shop add ons (please don't do that).

    I vote yes, but on a slightly related side-note, why can't you be a white tiger humanoid, in my opinion it'd look better.

    About the issue of it adding to the lag, simple solution is add a setting to force beast forms, basically, with the box checked, only the original tiger will appear, with it unchecked, all of the animals will be visible. Hell, a lot of MMO's have a button that forces all players to look like their in the basic gear cut back on customization and the lag disappears. But quite frankly, for me, the lag isn't bad at all, so I have to go with diverse customization.

    In Chinese mythology, it is believed that all things are capable of acquiring human forms, magical powers, and immortality, provided that they receive sufficient energy, in such forms as human breath or essence from the moon and the sun.

    Lastly, the white tiger isn't actually a very big symbol involving werebeasts, it's known more for being the guardian of the west.

    Something like this would likely be a nice change, besides. As for workload? Look at genies, new clothing, the guardian charms changing for no apparent reason, and the massive expansion. By all means, please add another thing that would be awesome too~ After all, to be frank, you can't go wrong with true forms, they can't be nurfed, ruined, or marred; balanced, or miffed... can they? True forms could be like clothing. They look awesome, add one more personal touch to the game and as far as I know, people like adding a "personal touch" to their gaming experiences. :3

    Yes, I am the huge advocate of this suggestion.
    Just waiting to get enough votes to get it noticed or have a mod or gm explain to us the complications so we can create compromises or 'tweaks' to the suggestion or something.

    It'll be like clothing guys. Just buy the animal skin to wear in to replace the tiger for or something.
    Like someone posted earlier in this thread. It will add even more colour to the game via diversity!

    I dont have a save image location, so i clicked copy link, and then I tried to do that as my sig, but it said BB URL not allowed

    In your signature options, on the bottom, below the text bars, there's an "Signature Image" section.
    Upload that image via link or computer then save it, then clikc "Insert sig pic".

    I'm an advocate of the true forms, for the simple reason I'm tired of being the stupid tiger barb. It's horribly annoying to get nubbed at because we're not freaking wolves or lions.

    Besides someone mentioned the original colors for the tiger, instead of white tiger (win for them) so maybe we wont look like zombie barbs running about.
