that's about right, even a text change requires files to be patched, we wish it was a switch, but it's not that easy b:victory

As for "what may happen"......I think that it would be a huge mistake to remove these Packs. The second round of QQ/Whine would ensue. People will deal with it. For heaven's sake it has only been like 2 days. b:surrender
(My suggestion however....Make the Chest of Coins and Perfect Hammers more worth while in this game. Some of us are sitting on 30+ -.-)

However, your whining about people whining is ridiculas too. Especially business models etc. People have a right to be pissed, more so others than me.
They wouldn't remove the packs, I'm well aware of that. Considering any remedial action/permanent action would have happened by now and it would be unfair to those who have invested into those packs for the sole reason of Lunar items/rank items etc...I'm just trying to inform others. This thread just needs to D.I.E. I fail to see why people keep posting in the hopes that something may happen. (In regards to the box, not duke).

Unless there is some kind of retribution, I'm inclined to agree to the latter statement.
In spoon's defense, he just works for "corporate greed" doesn't run it. Or as my dad would say..

Well as you can see I dont post much...but here it goes.
I have moved to PW from another game and love this game, I play as often as I can. But to be honest I feel betrayed..PW should realize that players are vested in this game as much as they are! Players have put in hours and hours of game play not to mention real life money! The economy has gone into a tail spin and experienced players are jumping ship! To be honest with you PW young players aspire to be like the more experienced High lvls. Thats what motivates them to spend thier hard earned cash. A game without an established community is a ghost town! That said, how do we fix it? Well I suggest that PW broadcast thier upcoming changes say in the announcments section. That way players who have spent gold and ingame coin to collect mats and items dont find themselves next to penniless the day after an update b:angry This will help keep the economy remain more stable as to the fact that the community will be prepared and exploiters (you know who you are..) wont be able to drive the economy into the ground. Seriously we all all use CS wether it be casually or as a sorce of creating ingame income. CS is how PW stays afloat...but it is the players are who putting the money in PW's wallet. How about some consideration in the future PW?..So PLEASE take the time post upcoming changes in the game that will affect our community!!
PS We all do love knowing whats coming next it keeps us around

OT: I got ongame last night with my alt, and for a long blissful while, there was hardly any duke shouting. I almost came on to announce that here, that it had slowed down, when it picked right back up.0 -
It was mentioned way back that the CS updates were to help players who have more than they know how to spend in game coin, spend their coin. On what was not specified... gold in AH?
They said it was to prevent inflation. But if they want to do that, why not just make better mounts than the horses avalible at the Pet Manager? Or put some of the cash shop items in the game for coin as well? Like dragon orbs? I dunno, stuff like that. There are better ways to suck game coin out of players and bring inflation down. Events for game coin only would help and fewer people would whine because those who worked at the game would be getting rewarded for their efforts, not just people with some extra cash and/or a weak constitution for gambling. I seem to have an issue with seeing something I want and finding the money for it, but I don't have much in-game coin because the game itself isn't any fun to play right now.
That's the second problem for me: THERE IS NOTHING TO DO. Pleeeeeease stop updating the cash shop for a few weeks and update the game with less grind quests, more fun quests that don't involve super bosses, content for in-game coin, more map to explore for lower level players. A lot of the quests I have now are grinding or a boss that I mention the mere name of and the guild goes silent because everyone hates bosses.

I live a 5 hr drive away from the beach and can easily stay in a GT Hotel if i want that.
and srsly about the noobs killing the pros, its unfair because then skills dont mean anything, in a f2p game the free players should still have a decent chance to beat the paying players if they try harder/are skillful etc but with the influx of 1337 equipz that just margin just got unacceptably smaller0 -

Yes I agree being evil is part of the experience, but I personally am not one of those people. I will go around randomly healing someone or helping someone out if they need. Heck one of the things I think is the funniest is if I see someone 'dueling' it out with someone else I will just randomly choose a person and start healing and protecting.b:laughb:chuckleb:victory And yes countless people do it in RL, that is what corruption is in the world today. A lot of people had quit the game because is too hard to get gear and level at the same time.
Some of my friends (most of them gone already) used to tell me that pwi thinks that we have no lives.
myself, I cant aford my tt90 armor, I never could aford tt60,tt70 or tt80.
I was lucky a friend who quit gave me legendary amor.
So, the current complaints are the opposite reason of why friends left the game. So, I still fail understanding.0 -
Farming is going to kill monsters right? When you kill a monster you get experience points. Your friends probably quit because they were looking for a way out... Or they realized what a lot of the younger kids fail to realize.... "The grass is greener on the other side." Imo your friends may have found higher levels to be dull and repetitive, as wonderful as this game is it is by no means perfect, which i've often heard to be a common complaint, specially from people who don't pvp... or simply they might have grown tired or outgrown it, it happens. Most people eventually move to another game or simply quit playing for a while.
It's a different issue from the recent game unbalance that aniversary packs/failed economy have created and which is the reason many of us are quitting. At least that's my view of what you posted, the complaints are different cuz they r unrelated...
