Don't think I've seen this discussed anywheres. My main is an archer, and I just started Veno today. I like =) I've been sending my little beastie off to kill a different mob than the one I'm hammering with a scarab. Killing two birds with ... well ... two different stones, but at the same time at least. Is this tactic going to hold up as well later on in life? It seems like it should if the pet is good, and my spells stay as strong to the mobs. Does anyone else do this? Is there a better way?

in the future (higher lvls) u won't be able to do this anymore, u really need your pet to tank, so u'll be fighting the same mob your pet does

Never mind, you'll still be able to laugh at the little wizards as they got torn to pieces by mobs with those dreaded three words:

Hey, what's better: keeping a low level pet and raising it up with you? Or dumping that baggage for the new model? It seems to me (initially) that a sharptooth wolf (or whatever the first wolf is called) leveled to 12 has better stats than a bitter wolf when you first get it. Am I crazy? I've been getting the start at higher levels because they better skills, but where does one draw the line?

The lower levcel you start a pet, the best stats it will have compared to one you tame at a higher level.

A wolf levelled from 2 to 50 will be better stat-wise than a wolf-type pet tamed at level 50.

The only thing you must do is to fill his skill bar with four skills, and to raise his skills every 20 levels (up to level 80). Otherwise he'll not keep up with you damage-wise and you'll end up stealing aggro too much from your pets

I found this to be untrue. I got my magmite at 17, raised it to 75 as I leveled, using it as my tank the entire time. I never upgraded its skills and I almost never stole agro from it.

You must not be doing a lot of damage to the mobs then ^^

I don't understand how to tame animal in wild
It is not for people to know when they are going to die. Both you and me might not have much longer to live. But there is no such thing as cheap lives, regardless of whether you choose to welcome death or run away from it.

u must be lvl 7 at least, and u'll get a skill from Pet Master , u can tame only mobs with a green or yellow face near their name, try to low their hp to 20% or so than try to tame (higher chance)

    hello
i'm new to the game and i play as a veno currently level 38
i was reading the forum and i got the impression everyone is using golems as pets
i still use my starter pet and i'm kind of attached to it b:sad
do i really have to go and change it to a golem
is the difference that big or is it still playable with a different pet

i also want to ask at what point i should teach my pet skills
because scrolls still seem very expensive to me b:surrender

    also i'm level 38 and i have 54 vitality
    is that too much?
i feel sorry for not reading the forum earlier but i got the impression noone puts point in vitality

well 54 vit is a bit too much for that lvl, but it's not a problem, stop adding for a while till u get back on the right track
about the pet, u should change to golem, don't worry, u'll get attached to it too b:chuckle, but if u prefer the wolf - form pet, there is a lvl 43 or 44 one which u could play until lvl 60 than get a Kowlin, kowlin will be good for grinding, but if u do want to tank something, u'd better get a golem asap

Just click Ctrl while clicking on the group behind which the mob your pet is fighting is "hiding".

It's <shift> not <ctrl>, and the problem is being able see beyond it because the pet is fighting the mob I targeted before it attacked it when it was still standing on top of me.

What are the different types of venomancers and if possible, when can you decide to change types?

Many people are curious as to how to change to a fox.

Q: How do I turn into a fox?
A: This is a skill that can be learned at lvl 9.

    I believe that's correct. :D

Question... Where do I find either the Cage or the Hay for the Pet Bag quest? I have checked on one of the other sites and they say the hay is off turtles, yet, I've been killing them for the last 1/2 hour and not one hay has dropped? Is there an easier target with a better drop rate? Or is this like the other quests for the banker and inventory ?

i think the best hay droppers are the lvl 29 antelopes near Silver Pool but after getting the 20 hay u'll need 50x other things than 100x others
so with the actual price of the zen u might want to buy a Cage from Item Mall, 1 pet slot = 2 zen
