Srsly... if u damage us all now with fc... Go return from all people that are lvl 105 x1 x2 3x times the level and make them 102 again !! so they get damaged as well !! this is just unfair... and for new player which start the game ... well you guys didnt did any favour for yourself cause they will insta quit the game.. Every update pwi makes .. more and more people quit !

I never had any case of "a 'fc baby' ruining a run" to be honest. Regardless though, making it harder to stay competitive can never be a good thing, whether for the player base or the company.
The company needs competitive players to cashshop. If competitive players get too discouraged, then no more income from this game.
Majority of the players are at least somewhat competitive. If new players get too discouraged, then theres no competition means. So people will get bored and the player base will die.
To be honest me neither, 9x's out of 10 (that 10th is for when I **** up /o\) I can generally pick up the slack of a fail player, especially in delta, granted I do have to be on the right character/have the right skills at my disposal.

I'm glad the dev's axed frost, at the very least....if they weren't going to cap it. Ok, not hypering in fcc does not really bother me either way. But, could we have some clarification. Either you or DoD stated in another thread hypers working in frost was a glitch. Now it is a change. Which is it really. If it is no longer going to be a exp instance why has it not been reverted back to the farming instance it was. And personally I think it "not never intending to be a exp instance" is not on the level. If that was the case, then why was everything in it changed. No drops at all. I'm not saying I agree with the decision of removing hyper from FC, but majority of people that are 105x3 did it with PV, not FC.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have to admit I'm surprised they actually decided to keep FCC as is. I was expecting them to activate Hypers again like they did last time.
I'm expecting some people to quit, especially those who used only FCC as means of leveling, even though there are alternatives. Though I'd imagine it still kinda sucks in the 80-90 level range, they didn't update those quests there did they? Now it would be a good time to give them a boost (personally I wanted FCC restricted to 75+, not removing Hypers altogether).
I'm also expecting some people to be happy, things might get a little more active again (I see lower level BHs and PVs forming in WC).
The game has been in a steady decline for a long time and I lost hope of new players long ago. Well, this one at least. I guess the chinese PW is still popular enough that they invested into a graphical overhaul (assuming it's an expansion which I think it is).Goons glitch u mean? b:surrender

Although id have prefered a lvl cap and im a bit sad cause running fc will now be pretty worthless (and its one of my favorite dungeon design), this was a good decision i guess.
Before that, i pretty much did every dungeon on my own for my alts because finding non-fails is nearly impossible today, especially pre-100. There was maybe one out of 10 squads that at least made it to the bosses without a reborn toon. I actually was looking forward to solo fc for my alts and i upgraded my sins weapon just for that so i dont have to run with randoms anymore. PWI had become nearly a solo-game for me because the few friends that are still here are in different lvl ranges and besides chatting there wasnt much to do. Random WC squads were funny once, but now they were just depressing. Not because of new players that dont know the game, but because of new (and older) players that refuse to learn. And most of those players i met were plvld via FCC, usually with the help of faction mates and friends.
With this change, there is the small chance people will not be completely stupid anymore and PWi will become at least somewhat like a normal MMO again and im looking forward to it. It cant get any worser than it was with hyper-fc and botting, it will either stay the same or become better.
There are many ways to lvl already and most of them are even soloable at the lower lvls.
The thing that worries me a lot more is the new update on 24th.I like potatoes <(O~O)>0 -

As for Earning Limits, the UI is being made and will be implemented in the next patch or two. So along with FC, this change is staying as well.

fcc was the one instance that made the game kinda useful cos new players could get to the average lvls (which is 100+ these days) quite fast with some help (the fact that they dont know their classes at all let aside) and also charge or w/e (which, given the way i look at what uve done these past years, actually seems to be the thing u guys wanted)
so, to sum it up:
no new players = no new csers = max players get bored and cant make other alts = they quit = game dies

Do you really think changing such a mechanic near the games demise is a wise decision? This game is horrible when it comes to experience gained from quests in the later stages of the game and even with a faster method such as FC it's still slower to reach max level than your competing games, actually does this even compete with anything? It's such a terrible game, it would be like putting Mike Tyson against a down syndrome child in a boxing ring.
If you're going to remove hypering in FC you should firstly completely revamp the quests within the game for their xp to reflect the amount needed to level.
tl;dr: removing hypers at this point in the games life is one more nail in the coffin.0 -
They should have told us in advance that the change was happening. People earned money from frost and leveled alts through frost. Frost for leveling has been apart of the game for years now and to change it without any warning is wrong on the developers part. It just shows that they don't care.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Even though i got my toons leveled and exactly where i want them to be (meaning i wouldnt step into FC anymore even if all planet life depended on that)
I dont support this change.
This game is already like a small village where everyone know each other.Which make game some what boring.
Its nice to see some new faces every once in a while knowing its not someones alt.
But this is gonna kill any kind of new character creation,alt or newcomers.
This game need something to bring new people and customers,something that will revive half empty servers and bring company more money.
This is not the right way. (unless you guys plan to merge servers in future)0 -

One gotta love the stupidity of this statement. Why would forum have drastically different opinion from playerbase? Sure sample is small and not all that reliable but its quite clear majority wants hypers in FC in one form or another. When frost was accidentally converted into a hyper enabled power level instance it was the only way to gain exp faster than normal gameplay. Now we have PV, Dailies -BH-Morai-primal world-check in - the cube, -scrolls, orders, treasure hunt, auto cultivation, and a whole lot more. You and the other frost baby QQers might just discover this if you actually play the game instead of camping an instance.
New players are never going to know what hyper leveling in frost is so that will never affect their game play. I've been around for 6 years and I saw the game player base dwindle after frost became hyper enabled. Not before. I saw a number of people quit the game and the alt population of the remaining player base explode. This game became an alt bonanza for those who exploited frost. I'm thrilled that we're actually going to see the return of all level ranges of game play.I **** bigger than you...

Because a very small minority of the player base actually have anything to do with the forums AND thos that do are typically the ones who do nothing but complain which makes the forums so incredibly biased with negativity. Unless you're one of the best merchant ever born (which 99% of the players are not), then I challenge you to make a new character and reach R9rr +12 + josd + full S cards without cashshopping and without help from your main before this game shuts down.
In fact, I'm willing to bet most of you don't even have mains who have R9rr +12 with josd, much less S cards, lol. And you expect a NEW player to accomplish what you have yet to do after 5 years of playing?

Not sure about other servers but mine had its best population before hypers were enable in frost and that declined afterwards when people were allowed to skip 99% of the game to get to 100+. Getting there is supposed to be the challenge of the game as it was before frost was hyper enabled not just being 100+ after getting it in a week.
This instance gratification **** needs to stop. It's what killed the game. Not actually playing it to its full potential from start all through the levels to end game.
When was the last time you actually saw a World chat for a 6x, 7x, 8x, or 9x party for TT to farm mats so these players can make their own gear? When was the last time you saw 6x+ farming mats to make the subs to make their gear? It was really refreshing to see WC for BH 39 and BH51 not to mention a WC for a PV for 4x toons last night.I **** bigger than you...

Wellp.. at least now Rebirth (show of hands, how many of you have even stepped into it outside of either BH or culti in just Delta? Yeah, that's what I thought) can potentially regain use as a way to level for lower people and folks will realize that you can use hypers on mobs in FBs for what's actually a rather nice amount of EXP. Especially if you treat the instance in a manner similar to frost in terms of AoEing things.
Or... we'll have a bunch of self-entitled, unskilled, unimaginative people who aren't willing to attempt anything new or different and that will simply complain endlessly about how Frost is no longer the super duper free EXP instance it once was. Even though back when it was converted to an EXP instance people were amazed at how great the EXP was in there and how they could get over 1mil EXP from just the one place with little effort and running it lead to very fast levels.
Yet hypers didn't exist at the time and we had weaker gear standards (though I suppose the gear standard for lowbies has dropped nowadays since nobody does TT anymore and people like running around in level 20 NPC gear while missing 4/6 armor pieces because who needs gear to stand in the EXP room and shoot heads amirite) as well as no super duper awesome blessings to boost our attack/defense on demand.(Insert fancy image here)0 -

There is a game that competes with it (level wise), I know since I came from there 5 years ago, I even revisited not long ago, and the difficultly to level is as hard as ever. (It is a web browser game that uses java.)

And you clearly have no clue what you are talking bout. There is absolutely no reason the forum would have higher % of say *** users than there is in game. I am sure % wont be exactly the same but there is no reason for it to be drastically different. Same holds for whole FC debate and I would argue its the ones who are against FC hypering that are more active on forums. The FCers are busy doing stuff(leveling) in game while the already leveled players with nothing better to do have time to browse forums.
